An early Thanksgiving tea party! Dainty tea time! (OPEN LOG)
Who: Selene, Weavile (don't worry, Lizzi, you can tag when you're off of hiatus), Zelda, Goombella, any tea lovers willing to join in!
What: Thanksgiving ~tea party~!
Where: The common room
When: November 25th at night
A tea party felt like the right thing to do to kick off a Thanksgiving. Sure, it wasn't food, but it was something involving, well, something you ingested. That counted, right? She decided to have it the day before rather than on the day, for she'd rather spend the next day reading some books that she needed to for when classes started up again. Besides, this would leave room for people who would be gone on Thanksgiving to have the tea party tonight!
Selene set up the common room table, placing down some tea cups with a tea container. She had a little Popples-made tea set, hand-crafted with material on her floating moon island. She couldn't go anywhere without it! It came with numerous cups, so she could have quite a few people here. Just in case, though, she also obtained some cups from the student kitchen. She at least thought she could use them.
She put everything in place, from the tea cups to the little containers of sugar and honey, as well as other such things you would put in tea. She already had a few teas that she both owned and found in the student kitchen brewing, or already brewed in their own tea 'pitchers'.
This was going to be delightful!

Spending time with her residents was always welcome as well, and she entered the room with a smile. "Hello, everyone."

She glanced over at Wave, who seemed a bit hesitant. Why was she? She made an invitation and she was more than free to drink with them! She even allowed those who didn't see the invitation, but just wanted to jump right in.
"Oh, we do, Wave~ You are very welcome to join us."

Noticing the other guests, the counselor started to feel a bit out of place. It seemed he was the only male. How... interesting. Well, at least Zelda was there so he wasn't the only faculty member attending.

"Hello, Mr. Weavile. Would you like to take a seat?" She glanced around at the others. "What flavors of tea shall we be having?" There was a small list of flavors on a paper in the center of the table.

She then went off, and just a minute or two later, she was back with a small zipper bag with about 5 ice cubes. "Here you are, Mr. Weavile," she offered with a smile.

She looked towards the others, curious as to what they think of the tea. "How do you all like it?"

She left for the kitchen and remained there for a few minutes as she rummaged through the fridge and pantry. Eventually, she wound up finding a tiny plastic box of chocolate chip cookies in the pantry. They weren't good tea cookies, but they were cookies at all, so it'd have to do for now.
She re-emerged, placing the bowl down on the center of the table. "These are all I could find. Do you not mind chocolate chip?" She laughed a little, embarrassed that she couldn't get much else.

"So." She began, starting to make conversation. "What are everyone's plans for the holiday?"

for once, sympathized with Wave on the family front. She didn't have much contact with her father anymore, and the only contact she had with her mother was when she sent her money and when she had time from her homework to talk to her on those newfangled phone devices. She was glad she was able to, since her mother now lived in an area where phones existed, but still. She wished she could see them in person, though."Ah, I believe I shall follow in Mr. Weavile's footsteps. I do not think I will celebrate much further than this tea party, for I feel it is quite enough to keep me happy," She smiled.
She also didn't want to pig out and get fat or something.no subject
"Your holidays, anyway." Hyrule didn't celebrate Christmas. They had their own customs, and when Zelda had arrived at Smash Academy as a freshman, she'd been completely taken aback by the celebration. Even if it held no meaning for her, she did enjoy it, in a sense. "Winter break is just the most convenient time to return to Hyrule."
