What: Lash tries to flirt like Blacky taught her, and horrible things happen.

Well, she told herself she would do it. Now it was only a question of who would Lash come upon first. Deep breaths, calming voice, being in control. She could do that easily. The hardest part was how the other person would react, and keeping her short fuse in check.

It was a recipe for disaster, that was for certain.

((OOC - Much like an open office log, you tell me what date, time and where your character is. I will have Lash moving all around the school looking for victims and she has three days off from work, so anywhere from 6am to midnight is fine.

Yes, girls can come too.

What was she trying to get at? It really was irritating the hawk laguz. He shut his eyes for a moment before telling her, "Nothing. I was born this way."

Well that came out rather simply. The mystery about the man's eyebrows solved, Lash almost seemed downcast by its resolution.

"Oh." Then a little more softly. "That sucks."

"It doesn't affect me." He didn't like her thinking that he must be living a life of misery simply because he didn't have eyebrows. Ulki always imagined that he would look a whole lot angrier if he did have eyebrows. Then he considered that she could be referring to the fact that her findings were probably not as amazing as she wished them to be; to this, he was unsure how to feel.

"Well it's not life affecting like other deformities, so it's understandable. Not life changing or anything." She gave him a tiny smile. "You're really interesting."

What was so interesting about not having any... eyebrows? He was puzzled. "Interesting..." he repeated. "If you... say so."

"I do!" More questions to throw his way. "...Is there any particular reason you decided to come here?"

He wasn't keen on being asked so many questions by someone like Lash. It irked him and made him suspicious of her intentions. "Not... entirely," he lied, even though he wasn't quite sure himself. All he remembered is that he heard something and went to investigate, which led to this.

Unfortunately (or fortunately?) Lash didn't have any malicious intent. Someone who reminded her of Hawke just made her all the more curious.

"Well at least you're having fun here...right?"

"Well... I suppose," he agreed, but he wasn't sure he liked to call it 'fun.' Perhaps it was the way the word felt being applied to himself.

"That's good!" she cheered, probably sounding a little more enthusiastic than she might have tried to let on.

He couldn't help but feel as though he were being mocked, whether he was or not.

"Are you okay?" She looked at him, worried.

"Yes. Why wouldn't I be?" Maybe she was innocent. He internally ridiculed himself for judging the girl without basis.

"Well let's just say Hawke isn't the type to go out and dancand you remind me a lot of him so...your silence made me wonder, that's all..."

"Ah." The ears of the Hawk King backed up and turned his body away from Lash, gesturing that he was intending to leave.

"You should try smiling more," she offered, turning around herself. "I'm sure it would make some people you know happier." She didn't speak from experience with her leader, no sir.

With no response, Ulki acknowledged her by turning back to look at her once more before heading off to go be lonely somewhere else his quarters.

He contemplated researching Lash and Hawke a little further. Maybe that would be a good motivation to master the computer.
