Well, she told herself she would do it. Now it was only a question of who would Lash come upon first. Deep breaths, calming voice, being in control. She could do that easily. The hardest part was how the other person would react, and keeping her short fuse in check.

It was a recipe for disaster, that was for certain.

((OOC - Much like an open office log, you tell me what date, time and where your character is. I will have Lash moving all around the school looking for victims and she has three days off from work, so anywhere from 6am to midnight is fine.

"What was he like?"

"Professor Hector was a brilliant scientist," R.O.B. explained. "He was very eccentric and tended to come up with more ideas than he knew what to do with. He entrusted me with a number of his notes as a result. He often started projects, discovered something that piqued his interest more and promptly forgot about them. He was kind and understanding, and ensured that I and the other robots were maintained in perfect condition."

"Oh I see. He was kinda of a mad scientist, except he wasn't angry, just inventive." She could see why Rob would draw the parallels. "So he made you because of short memory term problems?" She didn't mean it as an insult.

"Professor Hector constructed me in order to coordinate the other robots he constructed. There became so many of them that he spent more time issuing commands than tending to his research," R.O.B. explained.

"Aaaah, that explains the entire army."

"Correction: We are not an army. We are more accurately referred to as a collective, each performing specialized tasks to ensure an optimal and efficient workplace."

She laughed.

"Where I come from, we'd call that an army. Armies don't need to just do fighting. But I guess collective works for robots, tee hee hee." She scratched the back of her head, thinking. "So, any progress on getting that collective up?"

"I suppose you may be correct," R.O.B. admitted. "Unfortunately no. I have had no luck finding any information that could lead to their reactivation."

"Maybe we can work on this later then?" she offered giving him a reassuring pat.

"Your assistance would be appreciated," he informed her.

"I'm one of the best at school too!" she grinned. "If I can't do it, no one else here can."

"Query: You believe nobody else here possesses your level of technical knowledge?" he asked. It wasn't accusing; he was just curious about the level of knowledge of those around him.

"You bet! I might not have all that futuristic gadgets some of the other teachers have, but for a student and for my age, I'm a wunderkind!"

Oh boy, modesty was so much you, Lash.

"Confirmed. For security purposes, I wish to be present during any examinations of schematic details of the R.O.B. series," he said.

"Totally understandable," she said, smiling. "You'd kinda want to be there when all your brothers wake up, right?"

"Affirmative. Additionally, I wish to ensure that Professor Hector's knowledge is protected, as per his instructions." It was one of his primary directives, after all.

"Sure that makes sense." She'd find a way to look at it, of course. It was one of HER primary directives, after all.

"I will contact you when I am ready to begin," R.O.B. informed her. "Thank you for your assistance."

"Sure thing!" She waved off, plans already forming in her head.
