The Pokemon leads the Trainer around? A boy and his Darkrai!

Who: Lucas and Vashta and probably some NPCs
What: ADVENTURE
Where: Starting off leaving from FDC then the rest takes place in western Sinnoh.
When: November 14th - 21st
Warnings: Wear a jacket, it's COLD.

The dawn was breaking, and most nocturnal critters had turned in. One of them, however, was up unusually late (but early for everyone else.) Vashta would normally be asleep right now, but she had agreed to meet Lucas at this time. She waited out by the front gate, shielding her remaining, unbandaged eye from the rising sun and fighting off drowsiness. She hoped he'd bring a Chesto Berry or something.

Clutching his bag in his hand, Lucas slowly walked from the boys dorms. He was pretty tired, even if he was used to getting up that early, he still really was never a morning person.

Yawning, he saw Vashta, walking up to her. He gave her a tired smile, waving a small wave. If she noticed, he was not in his normal short sleeved attire, but a very thick jacket made from Mareep or Flaaffy wool? Hmm.. and a thick scarf around his neck, all nice and cozy. He totally kept these for a really good snow day that might have come up before the trip.

"Hi Ms. Vashta... I'm ready to go," he started, sticking his hands into his jacket. Fishing for a moment, he pulled out a small bag of poffins, all of them dry as if he read her miiiind, and warm? Either from being in his pocket, or the fact that he warmed them up before leaving the dorms. Anyway, he held out the bag for her, grinning. "I made them for you, since I wanted to make some poffins and get some space in my berry pocket."

Vashta nodded in greeting and attempted a weak smile in return, but it didn't feel real to her. She really hadn't been in a truly good mood enough to smile since the whole Shadow Week went down.

But Lucas always managed to cheer her up somehow, so she forced one for his sake, if no one else's. The Pokemon nodded again, accepting the bag. "Thank you... I just ate, but I'll save them for later."

She turned to face the path leading out of the school. "Well then... shall we?"

"Oh? Aww if you want me to, I'll keep 'em for you. I've got lots of pocket space right now." he suggested to her, patting the pocket he just had them in. "Either way, let's get the show on the road!"

Oh boy, his grin doubled as he secured his beret and looked up to her, so ready to start this journey.

Vashta shook her head. "That's alright, I'll carry them."

With that, they headed out, and after a timeskip while they were at FDC's port. The boat that took travelers out to the Sinnoh region was ready and waiting. Luckily the transportation was free of charge.

Once they got aboard, the watercraft took off, slowly picking up in speed. "We'll arrive in Canalave's port in about an hour or two at this rate," Vashta told him. "So... if either of us needs it because I know I do we can get a little extra rest on the way."

"Alright then," Lucas nodded, and then they were off!

Of course, the time did pass and they were at the port, Lucas tried to pay anyway, derp. after they were on the boat and watching the coast gradually become smaller and smaller as they moved away, Lucas notice that he was getting a tad sleepy from the calming atmosphere.

He then realized that she was talking, and yawned. "I think I'll take that offer too... I was kinda up a little later than I should of been, and earlier than I should of been too, and sleep does sound really good to me!"
