To the arcade! A boxer and a box... ing game fanatic? Oh.

Who: Nester, Little Mac
What: The two go to the nearby arcade to get candy, pizza, and any other assortment of foods, and play games!
Where: ARCADE. 8)
When: November 2nd
Warnings: Ummm maybe an occasional swear from Nester if he gets frustrated with a game, but the worst he says is hell and crap (and it's still rarely), so.

"Hey! Heeeeeey!"

Nester was going all around the dormitory complex (which was a bit messy still from the zombie ordeal), knocking on a bunch of boys' dorm room doors and looking for his new buddy. Where the heck did Mac reside at? That's what he wanted to know. He absolutely could not find him. It'd probably be easy if he knew his dorm room number.

He brought up to Mac that he was going to head off to the arcade to get some candy and pizza. He was going to eat that and play some games to make up for a ruined Halloween. He decided to let Mac tag along, and that was that!

Now he... just needed to find him.

Thankfully, though, the dorm room he just knocked on would happen to be the right one. "Heeeeeey! Is Mac in here?!"

Mac was still trying to get used to the whole digital boxing thing. It shouldn't feel different, he thought, but it did. In his moment of frustration, the punch got to Mac. "Aw crap!" Mac fumbled with the game's gloves a bit more and gave Nester's character a punch. Mac was slowly getting used to it...

Fumble, fumble...more fumbling. Nester hit Mac again, but Mac blocked the second jab luckily. This wasn't good, Nester was beating him. The red bar that said HP on it was a bit less on his side than Nester's. Maybe he should pretend it was a real match? Let's see how that works for him. Mac threw an uppercut, maybe starting to feel more comfortable about the game?

i keep messing up my posts asdfghj

Some went through, some Mac blocked, and the rest the computer didn't register. Now he was also in the yellow zone. "Awesome one, Nester! Now how 'bout this?" He throws three punches. One in the gut area of Nester's character, one in the head, and the third in the stomach again. Hopefully, that registered.

He blocked the first one, but the second one got him. Apparently, the side was a sensitive spot in the game because that one punch took alot of damage. He just got in the red zone now as well. It's neck to neck now. He wasn't going to back down now. This game was getting exciting. "Here it comes, Nester!" Double jab to the head.

Mac was happy that he won, of course, though he thought that he did get lucky considering he had a hard time getting used to how the game worked. "Heheheh, that was fun! You did good, Nester! You had me worried for a sec, ya almost got me! Good game." Mac saw the tickets and got them.

"Whatever you wanna play, Nester. I'm cool with anythin'." Mac shoved the tickets in his pocket. He didn't know if he really wanted any prizes, but they were worth keeping anyway.

Mac followed and watched. He never seen a game like it before. He probably shared Nester's frustration when he lost. "Aw darn. You almost got it, too..."

The game looked kinda tricky to him, but he wanted to try it anyway. The challenge was the fun, anyway. "Can I give it a shot?"

[identity profile] boxingmidget.livejournal.com 2009-11-04 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
Ah darnnn, Mac didn't get past the first level either. But he looked like he had fun though. "Aw nuts! Aw well...ya win some, ya lose some."

Mac wasn't very sure. He didn't have a lot of tickets and the prizes he could afford with them weren't interesting to him. And he didn't have much money left. Maybe if they got some more tickets? He looked around to see if he could find another game. "Ooooh! How about that one?" He pointed over to a fighting game. "Wanna play "Immortal Kombat"?"

((I suck at game puns, forgive me :|))

Mac picks SubBelow Zero. Seemed pretty cool enough; game seemed pretty simple enough. Just move the joystick and use a couple of buttons. Sounded simple enough to Mac The First Timer anyway.

asdfghjk Look at Nester go. Now look at Mac go, he did what Nester had done. Pressing random buttons and see if anything happens. This is a battle of the wits now!

Okay no it's not.

I couldn't decide XD;

The unthinkable happened. A very rare thing in fighting games. They apparently through the last hit at the same time. Both got knocked down. Draw.

"I-I guess...Wow, um, I just threw a punch and you did and then..."

Wow, in shock.
