Melissa stood outside, hands firmly planted on her hips and her feet planted firmly on the ground. She was pumped, and it showed. In her face, in her stance. She waited eagerly for everyone else to show up.

Nester approached the next bunch of trees, hoping that she might be in this one. He kept the walkie-talkie, hoping it would still work if he needed to whine at contact her for whatever reason as he searched for her.
