Smash Fundamentals 101! Learn How To Spin Attack!

Characters: Rosalina and students. Lurkers if they so please.
What: Rosalina teaches Smash Fundamentals
Where: The Stadium
When: September 18, midday
Warnings: G/PG

This week has been a strange one for Smash Academy, more specifically the faculty. For some unknown reason, the teachers’ job positions had switched, leaving with devastating results as many have little knowledge of the subject given to them *coughGannondorfcough*. But it may not be so as Rosalina was assigned a class that she can actually teach, so she thinks anyway.

Standing in the middle of the Stadium is the Star Princess herself, with Lumina and the rest of her brethren at her side. Placed around the area are floating targets of various sizes and heights, as well as a few Sandbags from the jumping impaired. Why the targets and Sandbags, you may ask? You will find out soon enough.

“Welcome students to Smash Fundamentals. I will be substituting Meta Knight as your teacher for the week. Today, you will learn how to perform the Spin Attack, a move that can stun your enemies for a brief period of time. However, you aren’t able to do it on your own – a Luma is necessary for it to be effective.”

As if on cue, the Lumas of many colors squealed with delight, spinning around and doing their little happy dance. Rosalina chuckled to herself as she approached Lumina, grabbing her gently with the palm of her hand.

“Allow me to show you how it’s done.”

The keeper of the Observatory walked towards the nearest target a few feet above her head and shook her wiimote did her signature move. Rosalina made a leap towards the floating target, doing a 360 in the air before letting loose of the glowing Luma which rammed its body at the target, breaking it in half. Lumina shook her head right after, ridding of the dizziness before returning to her mother, who had landed on the ground.

“There are many targets and Sandbags you can use to practice the move. Feel free to take a Luma and do your best!”
