((Jake's and Nester's project pretty much have a picture from the previous log, I think? Basically a Starman with Nester's head on it.))

"Hey Jake!" Nester turned to the headphone-lovin' dude. "Are we showing this guy what we've done or what?!"

Tails waited for Slippy and Ribbon to arrive - they had been able to work together for the past week to finish the project, and Tails was certain they'd get a good grade.

Slippy looked at their project proudly. They were sure to get a good grade.

Ribbon smiled gleefully with the rest of her group. It's been a while since she got a good grade. With the way things look now, she's confident that htey will get an A.

Tails unveiled their project. (It's different colors than this but the model's the same anyway.)

"Here it is, sir! The RX-O Zero-Two/02!" Tails grinned as he looked at it. There wasn't a single thing he could see wrong with it - especially with Ribbon's help at the end they got the shield done correctly.

He awaited their grade.

"Orange Kid, are we ready to unveil our robot yet?"

Orange Kid sighed. He didn't look too happy about this at all. "Fine then, go ahead. Bring out the robot, Apple Kid. Just make sure the cardboard box is on right."

"Okay," he said. "My mouse helped me with the box design, too" he said. "He drew the face on the box."

Apple Kid wheeled out something on a cart. It was covered with a sheet that appeared to have -- was that chocolate syrup -- chocolate syrup stains on one corner. Apple Kid's grubby hand grabbed another corner of the sheet -- oh look now it had strawberry jam on that corner -- and pulled the sheet deftly off of their robot construction.

Great, now because of Apple Kid, he was going to get a bad grade for this. Orange Kid ran forward, pushing Apple Kid out of the way oh god ew why did he do that now his hand's all sticky and stood before the teacher. "Sir, listen. You don't like it. I can tell. I don't like it either. It's a horrible abomination. That's why I put the cardboard box over it. It's all that slob, Apple Kid's fault that this project ended up ruined like this, if it had just been me it would have been perfect and amazing, like everything else I make. Please, just let me make another one without having to work with Apple Kid."

"Do you want us to turn it on?" asked Apple Kid, either ignoring or not paying attention to what Orange Kid said.

Knuckles whiped his brow. As hard as it had been to set it all up, he was pretty pleased with his and Jeffs mech. Taking onboard Jeffs suggestions and of course, using his own experience as a robot-battling maniac, Knuckles believed thier project was pretty slick.

Of course, to most people it probably would look silly and ungainly... but it was built to fly fast and hit hard. It was a battle machine, with hydraulic arms and spiked fists for punching, a shoulder mounted rocket launcher with six seperate barrels, large feet for stompinating foes and spikes on it's toes in case it needed to kick an ass or two. It's head was that of a fierce bird of prey, a sharp beak made for biting and barking and believe me - with the sonic booster installed into that metallic throat, it's bark really WAS worse than it's bite.

It was Jeff's professional opinion that his and Knuckles' robot was a joke. Granted with all of those weapons, it could pack quite a punch. But the fact that he and the other student had just built a robot with the capacity for destruction and property damage was completely ridiculous to the teen. Not to mention that it looked utterly preposterous. It was most likely the bird head.

But Jeff had decided early on to take a backseat on the project. Knuckles had clearly worked with robots before, so he had the advantage over the teen. And considering the outcome, the redhead was true to his word.

Though Jeff still would have preferred something a little less... bad science fiction movie. As long as it got them a good grade, he wouldn't voice any complaints.
