Stuck in an elevator!
Characters: Tubba Blubba, Parakarry
What: Getting stuck in an elevator. Awkward ensues.
Where: An elevator. Duh.
When: Thursday, June 11th, afternoonish.
Rating: Maybe some swearing? I hate ratings. :|
...Tubba Blubba didn't even know the dorm building had an elevator. Were there any students who had trouble with stairs? No one came to mind, but it had to be some kind of regulation or something. Whatever. Feeling a little lazy today, he pressed the down button and rocked back and forth on his heels, waiting for the elevator to arrive. His pessimistic side (companion to his other pessimistic side) noted that he would have been out the door by now if he'd taken the stairs just as the metal door slid open. He stepped inside, the mostly-sterile interior reminiscent of a hospital. Not that he'd ever been in one.
He quickly hunted down the buttons that would take him to the first floor and shut the door, pressing them in succession. Unfortunately, the latter didn't work. He willed the door to close, but that didn't work either. He tapped his toe, the noise echoing through the small space. After what was certainly far too long, the door finally began to slide shut. "Finally."

His face wasn´t fully visible due to a large stack of packages he was carrying.

"T-thank you very much," he said with a pant, not realizing Tubba had been trying to close the elevator door instead of opening it. Actually, he hadn't noticed it was Tubba in the elevator with him until he bothered to turn his head to face him.
"Oh! Um...." Okay this was going to be awkward.

Parakarry could feel Tubba's hostility toward him which made the mailman uncomfortable. Granted, he could understand why. The whole Star Rod incident didn't exactly leave these two on the best of terms.
He gave a sigh. Couldn't this elevator go any faster?

"...You've GOT to be kidding," Tubba said to every single god he didn't believe in.

"Confound it." He opened a small compartment in the panel and pulled out the emergency phone. "Hello? Is anyone there?" but there was only static.
"It looks like we're going to be stuck here for a while..."

"Just my luck. Stuck here with you of all people."

"Oh praise the Star Spirits!" he cried out but he would soon realize that like Lady Luck wasn't on the boys' side today.
"Battery's dead..." he said with a grimace on his face.
Great, just freaking great.

He uttered a small sigh and his fingers began to impatiently drum on the cardboard surface of one of the packages.
Parakarry hated cramped areas. He hated being set back on his scheduled delivery routes. Most of all though, he hated having to share this experience with Tubba of all people.

"All you're doing is complaining yet I haven't seen you try to find a way to get us out of here! At least I attempted to call for help. What have you done?"

Glad to see you're being so positive about this. he thought to himself while looking upward. It was no use talking to him.
