Find That Letter!
Characters: Vashta, Parakarry
What: Looking for lost mail
Where:Mount Rugged Somewhere on campus
When: 4/26. Late Morning(?)
Rating: PG
The grass gave a light crunch as Parakarry's boots touched the ground. The lid to his mailbag swung as he fell to his knees and grabbed it to rummage inside. Either the wind had opened it or Parakarry had forgotten to button it up before taking off this morning, he couldn't remember and right now it didn't matter. What mattered to him was the contents inside.
"Let's see. One, two..." he counted softly before muttering a "confound it," under his breath. "No. Oh no. One's missing.'" He frantically looked for the lost letter.
Parakarry had come a long way from being the bumbling postman that had worked in Toad Town but every once in a while an envelope or package would still fall out of his bag. Normally Parakarry would catch it in time or at least see where the fallen mail would land and find it easily but today it went undetected until it was too late.
"Confound it!" he grumbled as he floated again, sticking closely to the ground. As humilating as it would be for people to find out he goofed up, Parakarry hoped someone would come along and help.
It happened once before a long time ago.

And then MEG kicked herself for redundancy.((human 8U ))
"Um...excuse me." He called out meekly. "Excuse me, Miss....Vashta, correct?"

"Well...I have a little p-problem." He cleared throat. This was so humiliating. "I'm normally I'm a-a letter-perfect postman but...well...today...er...You didn't see a letter lying around, did you?"

"Well...maybe...if it's not too much of a bother."

Enough of this idleness, though. Time to get to business. "So. Where do you remember having it last?" Backtracking was usually a good start.

Parakarry looked down. "So...most likely I lost it in one of those areas."

"...erm. This is a little embarassing..." she laughed nervously. "I'm afraid I don't know my way around the place quite yet..."
no subject
"Just follow me," he said with a smile, remaining a short distance above her as he led the way.

It wasn't long before they arrived
because MEG didn't want to write a bunch of tags of nothing, and Helena probably didn't either.no subject
"This should make looking easier for us."

A pause came. ".....Or was it over at that table," he muttered before pointing to another one. "...Or maybe it was that one... Oh confound it... I don't fully remember."

"I'll take the right side and you take the left, all right?"

"Whoops! Sorry. Excuse me." he said while turning. "Didn't mean to disturb you."
((oh god I completely forgot about this I'm sorry Helena ;A; ))
was short enoughhad good enough eyesight that she only had to tilt her head a bit to see under the tables. There weren't that many people, so it didn't take much effort.*TIME PASSES...*

Shaking her head quickly, she carried on. "You said you were at the teachers' offices before this?"

((OTL))
"Then let's see if we have any luck in that direction, shall we?"
