A Shadowy Battle! Usurp the Usurper! By Fur and Scale Shall We Cast You Out!

Who: Arcanine, Midna, and Rayquaza, guest starring some gay guy. I mean Zant.
What: BFFS HAVE TO BEAT DOWN THE CREEPER.
Where: Somewhere in the cityyy.
When: February 28, weeee early in the morning.

You could hardly tell by looking up at the sky, but night was starting to wane. Midna looked up at the dome covering the area and frowned at it. She hadn't been able to get a good look at twilight for little over a week now, and it was getting to be a little frustrating. Just a little. With half the things she had seen and knew other people were going through, it was really the least of her concerns.

Midna was, quite frankly, exhausted. She'd be hard pressed to admit it during times like this, but she wasn't the most battle ready of students. She'd been doing what she could though. The twili leaned against the wall of the building she had taken temporary refuge in, one hand lightly patting Fluffy's side. The bird was a lot more tuckered out than she was, and was getting a well deserved rest.

She shut her eyes for a moment. She hoped her friends were alright. Midna hadn't heard from any of them for quite a while... probably because they were mostly likely a giant dragon or a giant dog at any given moment. She fiddled with the headset on her ear for a moment, contemplating giving them a call but she decided against it. It was hard to fuss with a headset when you didn't actually have hands and couldn't talk to the majority of people most of the time.

Another cackle in the air indeed. Just as Midna was ready, so was Zant. As he reappeared, back on his perch above, a wavering ball of black twili energy swarmed in front of his chest. Darkness with highlight of purple reflected off his mask and dainty apparel as it hovered without that aide of his hands.

If Midna had been in her Imp form, Zant could have very well swept her back without the use of the shadow ball. But that wasn't the case, and he needed something more tangible to knock his dear sweet princess back into her support wall. So this was it. And with one last hysterical cackle, he began his attack, the first twili ball shooting forth and another forming in it's wake.
