Political Science Class 5 - Poll Watching

Dr. Robotnik knew that the student council elections were today. As such, he was prepared with a very special lesson. As students arrived, they could see TV monitors, cameras, broadcasting equipment, and all sorts of items for creating special effects. Robotnik was ready when they had all filed in, with his special announcement.

"Welcome, class!" he said. "I realize many of you are following the current elections, so I have prepared a very special lesson!  Today we will learn about... PUNDITRY!!  Last class I told you about the importance of public opinion and separating fact from reality when dealing with politics, and today you will learn what it is like to be a very special form of liar: a POLITICAL PUNDIT or SPIN DOCTOR.  Pundits and Spin Doctors have the important job of taking in any information they hear, and putting a slant on it in order to support their own narrow-minded opinion of how the world works!  This practice has become more elaborate over the years, and has now become a staple of modern news broadcasting!"

Gesturing behind him, Robotnik continued.  "I have provided you all with the equipment you will need to create your own news broadcast!  Computers will feed you live election results as they happen!  Cameras are hooked up to televisions throughout the school, and you will broadcast election resutls to your peers!  And don't be shy about twisting or bending the truth if the facts don't support your preconceptions!  Now get going!  Your PUBLIC AWAITS!!  OHOHO!!!"

As the students got to work, Robotnik sat at his desk and began sketching something out.  He was available to answer questions, however.

((OOC: Smile! You're on closed circuit TV!  Go nuts with the reporting and bickering/debating about what the truth is or what the outcome will be!))

I'm not distracting, I'm doing exactly what you asked. Twisting or bending the truth if the facts don't support your preconceptions!

Because that poll should clearly be 100%.
