Special Moves #2- Jumping

*Notices put up all over the school (and over a few campaign flyers):* SPECIAL MOVES STUDENTS MEET IN THE GYM



*When students get to the gym, the first thing they encounter is...



...A giant rock-climbing wall. When all students are present and accounted for, Jamjars' voice comes from the top of the wall through a megaphone...*

Today we're gonna practice jumps,
but first, a climb to get you pumped!
Grab a rope and have no fear!
We'll start the class when you're all here!

*...AFTER EVERYONE CLIMBS...*

*The wall leads to a large platform that almost takes the place of the floor. Jamjars addresses the class on top of the silo that has somehow been installed on top of the wall. There's an odd rectangular shape, with a white sheet behind a white line.*

Good work, eve'one! Now, today, as Ah mentioned b'fore, we're gonna do some jumpin' practice. I wanna start the cirr'culum with stuff ya'll know how ta do before we get inta the more spec'lized moves.

Now, ya see this line? What'a wantcha ta do is stand on this line an' when Ah say "Go" run ta that pit...*Sure enough, there's a twenty foot hole filled with foam chunks for padding has been carved out*

And try ta jump over it. Far as ya can. Ah know not eve'rone can jump that far, no matter how many moves they use, so there's paddin' init so ya won't break nothin' if'n ya fall!

But Ah don' believe in lettin' ya have it too easy, so when I say go, Ah'm gonna release this!

*He yanks the sheet off the box to reveal a cage containing...*



"RARK RARK!"

Ain't he cute? Ah call'm Dick Chainy! An' he's gonna be chasin' you to the edge 'a the pit! Ya'll have ta think fast 'r else yer gonna git chomped on!

Now, who want's ta be first?

((Please try to keep things in the threads I start! Thanks! Also, taking a page out of Ocelot-mun's book and letting you NPC the Chain Chomp since all it'll be doing is chasing and possibly chomping!))

*climbs, climbs, climbs... does fairly well considering he's pretty buff, but gets bogged down by his huge size and weight. Makes it to the top in decent time*

*would totally just fly up the wall to also be a wise-ass, but doesn't, and instead shows off his leet rope-limbing skills, which are actually not leet but just pretty good*

*Mike climbs up the rock at a reasonable pace. He's got good upper arm strength, but he's not the best climber.* Not too shabby if I do say so!

*Canonically has mad rope-climbing skills, APPARENTLY, so he has little trouble reaching the top.* Heh, haven't had to do that in a while.

*Climbing, already hating it because his arms get tired easily. Three-fourths of the way up, he makes the mistake of looking down. Weak arms + fear of heights = slightly queasy feeling and oops he slipped.*

*He grabs the rope after falling a few feet, and resumes climbing until he gets to the top, at a faster pace now to get it over with.*

::has more upper body strength than most of the rest of the class combined, but 'cause he's pretty heavy he's only slightly better than average in getting up the ropes::

Sir! I'm sorry my biceps and I couldn't get up the ropes quicker, sir, I'm kinda heavy!

*dashes along until she reaches the pit, where she jumps, then attempts to propel herself farther into the air with her flames successfully. She then uses her flames to float gently back down on the other side and finish the track*

Well what do you know? That actually worked.

EEEEEEEEEEEK! *runs like HELL to the edge of the pit and jumps, stretching her legs out to try to jump as far as possible... but slams down on the padding*

*Runs, leaps with his usual Sonic!fag natural agility and speed... doesn't quite make it over the whole pit with his jump but opens up his dreads-of-flight and soars well accross the pit to the other side.*

Do we have to battle Dick Chainy now, sir?

*takes off, jumps, plummets to the padding, face first* OOF... Running isn't my strong point, sir.

*runs at the pit, makes an impressive jump, and upon noticing she probably won't make it to the other side the way things are going, whips into a spin, her whirling ponytail helping her float across the rest of the hole*

*glances over his shoulder at the Chain Chomp, raises an eyebrow like what is that some sort of legless Ultimate Chimera ripoff, shrugs to himself and TAKES OFF toward the pit. Claus launches into the air traveling an average distance for someone of his stature, but before starting to plummet a pair of mechanical batweengs spring from his back (ripping the T-shirt oshi sorry teach) and he easily glides the rest of the way to the other side of the pit*

*once on solid ground, turns around and waves to Jamjars* That was a pretty fun warm-up, sir!
