A rather dull weekend over Webflix
Who: Charlise and anyone who happens upon the game room.
What: Lazy, rainy weekend.
Where: Game room
When: Weekend 7/11 - 7/12
Warnings: It's Kitty. That's warning enough.
Ever since returning to Smash, Kitty had felt sort of distant. Not in the way she had felt before, but more in the way of being confused and without purpose. She already knew she felt alone due to the lack of having some of the very few people she got close to. Even if she'd never tell them, she did feel lost without them, her team. A glimmer of silver was the fact that, while under her own problems and stress, Evve was still around. And she had heard that the ketchup meathead was still around too as well as her old roommate. But alas, they had their things, their friends and their lives to live. Kitty had... well, Kitty had fuckall.
She had made her way down to the front, and had packed a bag with treats in hopes that maybe an outting in the woods that she used to haunt would give her some answer and as soon as she opened the damned doors a fucking downpour decided to break lose. You know what they say about summer rains? Well fuck them.
She looked back and saw that the game room lobby was empty, probably because everyone was out and about having a blast during summer <s>unbeknownst to Kitty of the crazy shit happening around the school</s>. Making her way to the couch, she dropped down, set her bag besides her and loaded up Webflix on the widescreen. Maybe it was just a movie day...
Or days... cause Kitty just lost track of time while marathoning movies and series. You'll find her through two days worth of movies and random shows, nibbling on her snacks as she rearranges herself every so often. The genres vary but you'll generally find her watching depressing shit, horror movies, suspense, sci-fi, thrillers, psychological and that sort of thing.

Late at night
Anyhoo, a dark shape starts to take form amidst the static on the screen... something round with a tall, sharp point. The sound of the static starts to buzz and gurgle, cycling up and down in pitch, as though there were some kind of electrical interference. A moment, later, a voice could be heard, not from the TV's speakers, but directly from the strange fuzzy shape resolving in the middle of the screen. Sounds like a young kid, male, maybe 14-ish.
"I'm sorry... Is someone there?"
no subject
Kitty had moved around a bit, trying to decide if it was even worth it to go bang it a few times, maybe even kick the damn thing over but before she could come to any kind of conclusion she heard the voice.
"The fuck?" was her initial response as she took a glance here and there before looking back to the screen and crossing her arms. "Of course there's someone fucking here and I'll bet it was you who ruined my fucking stream huh."
no subject
The dark shape starts to resolve into a more defined image... then pops right off the screen. Wait, no, through it. Is it coming out of the screen? Yes, it is. There is a fellow poking his head right out of the television, as though emerging from a static-filled portal. A fellow sporting a red spiked helmet with a dark visor, through which his large blue eyes are somehow fully visible.
He spots the lady on the other side, looking rather cross at him.
"I-I'm sorry, ma'am... This set had been sending data requests out for hours and I didn't think there was any kind of meeting going on in here... I was just curious... I'm sorry."
With that, he leaps bodily out of the television, landing in a crouching position on the common room floor. Except for the weird red and yellow costume, there's not much to the little guy. Didn't look like he could hold out for long in a fistfight, that's for sure.
The moment he exits the set, the stream picks back up where it left off. The stalker's victim lets out a loud, piercing scream, startling the kid in the red helmet, who whips around to face the screen, a stray spark jumping between his fingers for a split second, giving off an audible electric snap. Easily rattled, it seems.
"Oh... it's a movie."

Once he was out and everything picked up again, she frowned and raised a brow before speaking. "Of course it's just a movie, I said that already... Nothing to be so jumpy about." she paused and looked him over before continuing.
"Why in the hell would you be checking in on data being requested from the media room? Isn't that like asking to show up everytime someone wants to binge watch webflix or is in a long day spree of playing online games?"
no subject
Perhaps it was the concept of sitting on a couch watching TV for more than a day being totally alien to him, or maybe he had just realized he had simultaneously Done Something Illogical and Offended A Person, but it was obvious that he didn't have a tactical strategy for such a situation, and was close to falling apart.
"I-I'm sorry, ma'am..."

This kid look jittery, had she really freaked him out that much? Well fuck it, he deserved it for fucking around with her leisure time.
... Still though.
Charlise let out a sigh and looked away. "Look, just stand away from the screen so I can at least rewind to the part I was at." She paused and kept her gaze averted. "There's some... candy and shit... you know, if you want to eat some. Since you took your damn time to come through the screen from wherever the hell you were at before." There. That's as nice as she'll be!

He didn't mean for it to come off so bluntly, but he couldn't help feeling like he honestly didn't belong there and that he needed to be somewhere else, preferably alone, so he could think about how he could have handled this better.
So he took his leave, turning to face the opposite wall and appearing to pounce straight at it, only to disappear completely, phasing through it into an adjoining hallway and taking off.

"Fuckin' weirdos all over this school..." Says Charlise...
And then she turned back to watch her show.
