[Open Log] Seas of pink are back again~

Who: You!
What: Cherry Blossom Festival
When: April 10th - 18th
Where: All over town & campus. Wherever you find a cherry tree.
Rating: Flower power.

Pink is everywhere. No matter where you look, you're sure to see the signs of soft pink and white blossoms. There's a fresh spark of life filling the air and just beckoning for everyone to come outside and enjoy the sweet scents of spring. Well, except for you, people with springtime allergies. They just want to make you miserable. But perhaps for everyone else, it was a wonderful amazing time to be had.

There are wonderful spots for picnicking! Frolic inducing atmosphere and the space to do it! Every so often you will see vendors selling treats for the event! Cosplayers taking advantage of their natural environments for photo ops! Hot date spots! Blossoms! Sparkles! Everywhere! Even when it rains.

This log is completely open! You can do whatever you'd like with whomever you'd like whenever you'd like. Just start up a thread and go!

Have fun! Don't forget to add your character to the entry tags! ♥

"Naegi-kun, these look wonderful..." came a familiar voice with a lunch box in hand as Mukuro, stealthily appears standing above him. She's actually nibbling on an umeboshi onigiri in a genteel manner as she says this, but as someone who has a penchant for neat foods, she can't really help herself.

Thankfully, stealthy appearances don't startle him as much as they used to, courtesy of a certain robot! So instead of jumping up or falling face flat onto his lunch, he just looks up and waves at her with a smile.

"Really? Thanks! I had a lot of help with this though—not sure if I could've made this much without them." For someone ordinary like him, neatly cooking a large amount in a fairly short amount of time would have been a tall order to fill. But thankfully he managed to enlist the help of others with the use of some luck and protagonist powers.

"It is spectacular, in any instance."

She actually sits down next to Naegi and puts the lunch box in front of her.

"How likely is it that people will be returning these boxes to the kitchen?"

Because you know that they'll end up doing some mini game-esque hunt for them if they don't turn up.

"Not super likely," Naegi admitted sheepishly as he glanced at the small hill of lunch boxes nearby. "But I'm doing my best to keep track of who has the boxes. It should be fine as long as it's eventually returned, I think."

...Yeah, he'll probably end up having to hunt the majority of them later. Hello, easter egg lunch box hunt!

"It's still a kind gesture of you..." Mukuro sounded really amazed and awed by this. As someone who normally doesn't think of herself but isn't necessary selfless, she finds the seemingly naive gestures Naegi does... really inspiring.

"Um, thanks?" Yeah, real eloquent, Naegi. Let's try that again with slightly less awkwardness. "I just did it because I thought it'd be fun. ...Or maybe it's just 'cause I've been cooking a lot lately."

Now that he thinks about it, the amount of cooking he's done sure has shot up in the past few months... Maybe he should start looking for new, slightly more complicated recipes soon.

"Do you not like the cafeteria food? Or is it simply that you wish to cook?"

She had to admit, Naegi was good at cooking. He'd probably make a good househusband.

"The cafeteria food here isn't bad!"

But even if it wasn't, he'd never say it, lest he incur the possible wrath of lunchbear Nancy.

"So yeah, I just like doing it. Something about it is just...calming? ...Except maybe for the cutting part. That part's still a little nerve-wracking."

Let's not talk about the number of times he's nearly cut himself with a knife, or during one occasion, nearly sent it flying. Somehow.
