Office Log
Who: Rhys and you!
What: Office log! ...Can also be called "help nurse" log.
When: Dates of 10/21 - 10/28 but you can also go for something earlier/later than that if convenient
Where: Infirmary or Rhys’s office, which is just inside the infirmary.
Warnings: THERE COULD BE CARNAGE AND PESTILENCE HERE. There may also be tripping out due to candy drugs.
We're all familiar with office logs around here, right? If you're not, then allow me to explain really quickly: Your dude stops in for any reason whatsoever, be it trouble with grades, asking permission for something, stopping to chat, dropping off a form, and other office-like concerns. Or even miscellaneous concerns. Then we'll take it away from there. Rhys is a bit of a special case, since he runs the infirmary. That means you could also drag yourself in with some kind of unbearable ailment or crippling injury and have Rhys get you treated. Have a status condition? Never fear, solutions are here! Got in a fight with your arch nemesis in the locker room? Bleed no more; there’s plenty of bandages and/or heal staves to go around! Usually.
ANOTHER THING I WOULD LIKE TO ENCOURAGE: Is your character hopped up on drugs? Drop them in! I don’t care what reason they would have to stumble in. I just want Rhys to have to deal with druggies and raise his suspicion about the whole drug deal further. That being said, I request at least one of his patients to be under the influence. That is all! Have fun.

10/22
Once he does, of course, he sits there and stares dully ahead, like the flame of his spirit has been extinguished. Defeat stings sometimes. Care to come on in and visit him?

Blue helped herself to sitting on the edge of his bed, giving him a slightly worried look.
"Hello."

Well, this was embarrassing. Chili's brow furrowed, and he bit the inside of his cheek. "Uhh, hi," he managed, wondering what she would say to him.
no subject
"How are you feeling? Relatively speaking, anyway. Most people would feel pretty awful after tussling with an Arcanine, I'd wager."
Yeah. Yeah she knew.
no subject
"Well, kind of," he added quietly, trying to relax his body. "I think I owe you an apology. For doing something stupid."
He forgot what he told himself he'd apologize for after Cress left earlier. It was probably for overstating himself even though he'd admitted to the whole network that he was in need of much training... but he had a hard time acknowledging that, too. Chili was just too embarrassed to let himself remember that bit of the apology.
WOW I SUCK. LIKE A LOT.
"Shh, relax. You don't owe me anything. It looks like you've already learned a lesson or two already."
IT'S OK. I'M PRETTY SUCKY TOO.
But what? He couldn't pinpoint what exactly it was he was trying to say. Suddenly, it struck him: even though he was generally down at the moment, he lit up. "Your Arcanine! He's really strong!" proclaimed Chili abruptly. "I'm going to have to admit that he is lucky to have as great of a trainer as you, because I think that's what makes all the difference!" Then, his expression dropped once again as he lamented his current position. "Me, though... I shouldn't have done that, especially since I just resigned as a gym leader so that I could retrain. Talk about a bad move!"

...
THE INFIRMARY WAS KIND OF BORING HE WAS TURNING AROUND TO LEAVE WHEN SUDDENLY wait was that Chili?!
"Whoa there--what the heck happened to you? You try that punchin' a whole in space time thing on yourself? How are you still here?" Inquired the little green-eyeed robot on the ceiling.
no subject
"No, that's stupid! I wouldn't do something like that," he responded. "Nope, I got in a fight! It was intense."
no subject
"How intense? We talkin' jaw-smashin' fist-crunchin' one-hit-K-O sweet science kinds of intense?"
Because uh Chili clearly won and the other guy was lookin' way worse than him, right?
no subject
There. Chili's smile faded, and he looked a bit down.
no subject
"What? Come on you're kiddin' me, right? I bet other guy probably looks ten times as bad anyway."
no subject
"...I'm not very good at punching."

It set him at immensely ill ease to find that his eyes were not open. A sharp note rose from his vocal chords without him even meaning to as he darted for the bedside, eyes roving over Chili to assess the damage. "Chili! Are you okay? Can you hear me?" His entire state of being was spiked by the panic he felt.

Re: 10/22
Later on in the day, Kazooie and Pansear went on a little campus-wide adventure to find their fellow flame-headed friend.
Their search ended in the infirmary when they found him in bed.
Re: 10/22
By the time Kazooie and Pansear entered the infirmary to see him, he'd been sitting back with his eyes shut, but it might've looked like he was sleeping. Pansear gasped and wailed at the sight of his incapacitated trainer. He leaped for the bed, concern written all over his face. Chili opened his eyes to look at his two visitors.
"Oh, hi, Pansear and Kazooie," he greeted, offering a slight smile. He was a little embarrassed to be seen in such a state, made obvious by his eyes darting around the room. "Sorry for running off and not letting you know where I went."

Re: 10/22
"Uhmm, about that," he began, fiddling idly with the bandage that peeked out from the neck of his T-shirt. "I kinda got in a fight! I don't know what else to say about it that you can't gather for yourself just by looking at me, but I sorta fell unconscious somehow. Long story, haha!"
Pansear looked up at Chili and gave him a scowl. This wasn't the sort of thing he wanted to hear.

Re: 10/22
"I just did it because he challenged me to! I can't chicken out from a fight!" Pansear yelled at him after he said that, and Chili blinked at him. "I know, I could have brought you... but it was a one-on-one, and he challenged me!"
