Who: EVA, Canas, Daroach, and YOU.

Where: ...the library.
When: January 23rd to February 20th, 8AM-5PM. Closed on Sundays.
Warnings: So many books.

[I am currently working on a revamped, detailed description of the library. But here are a some things you should know: the library is a MASSIVE brick building with one entrance. Total, the building is 3 and a half stories tall. There is a large front desk to your immediate left upon entering, computers in the center, and the labyrinth of staircases, moving armchairs, and bookcases upon bookcases is primarily to the right and on the upper levels.

Every wall of the library, including those right behind the front desk, is covered in bookcases. There's a large window at the back of the library that lets sunlight in. There are two drop bins in the library, one by the door and one by the front desk. Behind the desk is a small office which EVA keeps to herself with a special key (sorry Daroach and Canas), but most of the important stuff is at the front desk anyway.

Despite having some pretty snazzy computers, the library still operates the old-fashioned way. You know, with these cards in every book, and a written file on every card-holder.

As far as navigating the library, the stories contain as follows: First floor is primarily fiction (excluding untranslated foreign literature), children's non-fiction and fiction, manga, magazines, and the like. The second floor is entirely non-fiction, other than children's non-fiction and religion. Third floor is untranslated literature and trashy romance novels. The half floor houses the religious non-fiction and any religious text, as well as the restricted room. Which contains black magic spellbooks. And Harry Potter.

• This is optional, but it would help if you would please put the date and the time and/or time of day in the subject line of your comment.
• If you would prefer a particular librarian (EVA, Canas, or Daroach) please specify along with your date/time in the subject line! Otherwise we will take turns.
• The library opens at 8 in the morning and closes around 5 in the evening. Every librarian is usually in and out throughout the day. The library is closed on Sundays.
• Add an OOC note for solo logs. ALSO! Logs between two (or more) characters (not including the librarians) in the library is cool/encouraged!
• Prose or action are fine. Whatever you're more comfortable with.

[She is, however, notably absent the 26th and each day after that until Ai reappears, whenever that is.

But when she is there, it's probably hard to tell unless you know where to look. She's in any of her usual spots, reading any of the following at any point in time: magic books, Latin books, a big book about ancient Hylian, some fiction of some sort.]

23rd.

[Finding a book Ai wanted to read was the easy part. Finding Vianca was the difficult part. Armed with a copy of Caring for Your Human, Ai searches for her sister for a good ten minutes.

She drags a nearby armchair towards Vianca's with ease and then plops down on it.]

Hello!

[Vianca hadn't bothered to look up to see who it was she heard nearby in the library. At least, not until the other armchair was slid over. That could only indicate that it was someone that wanted anything to do with her, so she was not surprised when she looked up to see that it was Ai that had taken a seat next to her.

The white pikmin nodded her head at her, inwardly pleased to see her sister.]

Hello, Ai.

[Ai peered over at Vianca's book nosily. She smiled back at her sister.]

What are you reading?

[She re-situated herself several times in her chair before getting comfortable. And she set her book down on the arm, because talking to her sister was more interesting than any book.]

24th.

[After the embarrassment Eli went through after taking Vianca training with her, the snake avoided the Pikmin again. Albeit only for a few days, but she was very purposefully being wherever Vianca was not.

But eventually her usual rash behavior kicks in, and she stomps to the library to find the pale girl. She grabs a book on her way into the labyrinth of bookcases; a surprisingly heavy anthology of folk tales from the Mushroom Kingdom. It doesn't take her a particularly long time to find the Pikmin. When she does, Eli simply sits down on the chair beside hers, not even giving her a second glance before prying into her book.]

[The pikmin was not entirely sure what to make of it. She noticed that Eli hadn't been around, certainly. At first she thought that it was fine. It was just things returning to their normal state of being. That other afternoon had been a random sort of fluke and nothing more. But then she wondered if perhaps it had been something Vianca had done... or not done, more likely.

She tried not to think about it or why it bothered her.

So when she looked up to see who had sat next to her today, she actually was surprised to see who it was. Vianca watched Eli for a moment, then turned her eyes back to her own book.]

[Eli could feel Vianca's eyes on her, and it was very tempting to stare back. She didn't. Not until the last moment, and Eli caught the slightest glimpse of Vianca's eyes looking in her direction. It was dully satisfying.

She crossed her legs and started to read. After a minute or two, she realized she wasn't even slightly paying attention to what she was reading. Her reading was more like the television being on in the background while she had a heated debate with herself.

But she said nothing. There was just a quiet sigh of irritation, and nothing else.]

25th.

[There's someone at the library who almost always knows where to find Vianca. As if it's some sort of sixth sense- or maybe it's just that EVA makes so many rounds through the library every day- the blonde librarian is always able to pinpoint the daily location of the white Pikmin. If only Ai and Eli thought to ask her first, they would be saved a lot of trouble...

Usually EVA stopped to silently greet her in some way. Sometimes she would sit down for a brief, hushed conversation. She made a point to, particularly if she had just been absent for a few days.

Although today was not one of those days, EVA did take a seat on the arm of Vianca's armchair. So as not to disturb her, in case she was reading something particularly interesting, she kept her hands to herself and didn't say a word.]

[Unlike either purple-haired guest Vianca had had, since seeing the blonde at the desk on her way in, Vianca had more or less been expecting EVA's presence at some point during the day. That's just how it was. So when EVA sat down, Vianca didn't look up. She knew who it was. So all she did was lean over and lightly rest her head against EVA's side.]

[That was all EVA needed. It was her cue. She leaned into the Pikmin and placed a gentle hand on her head. She stayed there silently, content with just enjoying the petite girl's company.]

Whenever; this is open to anyone interested, but aimed at EVA in particular.

Unfortunately, the library was open to everyone. Everyone. Including that bastard Volgin that EVA so adored, who was entertaining a gap in his scheduling to humor the poor woman with his impressive bulk taking up a chair and perhaps spending some time staring at her. Watching her. Scrutinizing her.

But today, he approached her, that usual sly, shit-eating look on his face.

He cleared his throat:

"I need assistance."

Adored wasn't exactly the word she'd choose, no. Although he was definitely noticed, EVA made a conscious effort to make sure Volgin was not acknowledged by her beyond a passing glance. If he needed anything, she'd let the other librarians take care of it.

Or she thought that's how it would go, anyway. While her coworkers were preoccupied, EVA was alone at the front desk when Volgin strode her way. She took her time drawing her eyes up to make eye-contact with the giant. And she gave him a long, hard stare before replying.

"With what?"

Volgin drew the moment out, before making his reply:

"Jack the Ripper.

"You know." He motioned with his hand. "19th century. Notorious murderer. Never found him." He especially articulated the last part, taking care not to let his heavy accent stumble it: "Murdered prostitutes by slicing their throats, then removed their abdominal contents. Some say he had some surgical knowledge because of it."

She would have liked for Volgin to stop after his initial comment. It was often difficult to visibly faze EVA, but the giant had the unfortunate ability to do just that whenever it pleased him to do so. It was a subtle change in her facial expression; from an unreadable poker face to the slightest hint of fear. She was trying not to show it.

"Look for it on the second floor," she replied coldly. "Someone else should be up there who can help you."

Actually, EVA had no idea where Daroach or Canas were. But she would have said anything to get Volgin out of her hair as soon as possible.

Feb. 1 - Pretty much open to anyone!

Sable would often come into the library to check out a few things, but on this particular day, it looked like she went all out!

She went in the library with the full intent on just trying out a few clothing designs from some sewing books, after about 20 minutes, she had her paws filled with not just clothing and sewing books, but also with a couple of cookbooks and about a dozen of cheap romance novels. This was too much to carry! Could she even check out all of these books?

Soon, she situated herself at a table and set her pile of books down with a very audible THUNK. Oh dear, that was louder than she wanted it to be. In any case, she started to review over her choices, thinking about what to take with her and what to leave behind. She sighed quietly, this was going to be a hard decision...

EVA just so happened to be near that very table when Sable set her books down. The loud thunk immediately attracted her attention, and she leaned out of the aisle she was in to see what was causing all the noise.

Oh! "Sable," EVA greeted her mildly, yet cheerfully. "Brushing up on something important?" She raised her eyebrows at the porcupine's impressive stack of books.

Don't worry about it, it's all good!

Sable's ears twitched slightly as she looked up to the librarian. "Oh, hello!" she greeted.

She then quietly laughed, a bit embarrassed. "Tee hee, well...it started out that way. I only meant to pick up a few sewing books, but then, well..." She gestured to the wide array of books she had on the table. "I got just a bit carried away. I don't know which books to leave behind! What do you think?"

EVA drew closer to Sable as she explained herself. She leaned up against an empty seat across from the other and offered her a genuinely warm smile.

"I know how that goes," she admitted. Giving Sable's selection another look, EVA plucked one of the romance novels from the very top of the stack. She gave the cover a long, but amused stare, analyzing the title and the cover. She smiled, and said, "Honestly, I would have never guessed a book like this would end up in your stack of books."

Feb. 4, any time

R.O.B. had set himself a new project. Something he wanted so much to understand. And like all wisdom, it began from knowledge. And where better to attain knowledge than the library?

He was there to read and learn as much as he could, and so his first goal was to speak with a librarian. He approached.

"Pardon me, I have an inquiry."

R.O.B. caught EVA off-guard. Something seemed odd about a robot in a library, although she couldn't put her finger on why, exactly. Either way, EVA replied politely.

"Sure. What can I help you with?"

R.O.B. turned and looked up at EVA.

"Hello," he said. "I wish to understand humor. Please advise."

Everyday, all day, open to everyone

[For the first week upon arriving, Klug had been researching a lot about technology and things relating to FDC. Now that the initial researching was done, he's back into his habit of researching about magic.

There's a ton of magic-related books sitting around the area he's sitting at.]

[This did not go unnoticed. It was not long ago that Vianca had surrounded herself with books of the same subject. EVA even recognized a few titles as her eyes passed over some of the books in the collection that surrounded Klug.]

Studying for a class?

[When he heard someone walk up, he looked up to see the librarian person. He gave his smile as he gave a nod.]

Salutations, miss! Yes... Well specifically speaking, I am doing some extra studying on my own. A wizard well-versed with things surrounding his world is a wizard that will succeed. So I'm making my way towards my goal of becoming a successful wizard!

Impressive.

[She came a little closer, and was bold enough to snab a book from his stack of books. The title was generic and EVA couldn't recall whether it was familiar or not.]
