"Wait, what? Why?" Knuckles asked, the trifecta of 'Wh' questions barely audible over the approaching noise of police sirens.
Oh. Right. Speed limits. They'd... kind of forgotten about those, huh?
"OK! I'm comin'!"
He started to run, pulling up alongside her and staring at her, wide eyed.
"If we go to jail? I'm never gonna let you forget it!"
Don't worry, Knuckles. The speed limit probably only applies to vehicles, not overly quick sprinters.
