"You're a pal, Mona!" he said, picking up a slice, folding it, and wolfing it down pretty quickly - hey, he was a growing boy!

"Oh. The lake monster? Yeah, there was one. I was there. I wanted to know if anyone heard anything about it in town - like, it was pretty big. You gotta figure if it came through here, someone'd have seen it right? I just... uh... haven't found the right folks to ask."
