Eirika was horrified. At least at first and knowing how transparent she was with her expressions, she didn't let it last long. Or at least tried not to, though she couldn't discern if Samus was serious or not. And perhaps it was more the possibility of Eirika ever having the capacity to actually think like that. (Not to say she'd not thought of awful things to happen to bad people in the past. Just that Samus was certainly not a bad person in her eyes.)
The moment Samus holstered her gun, Eirika's blue eyes moved to the nearest mistletoe plants, wondering if there was any truth to her theory. And she hoped there wasn't. It would be a very poor first impression and she could just see herself stumbling over apologies. And probably unnecessarily so.
"I... yes, of course," Eirika nodded as she set her gaze back onto Samus. "I didn't mean anything by it, really. Only that they seemed sentient above normal plants. I suppose in hindsight the possibility leaves me more uncomfortable. Although in such a case, considering what you instruct the students on would make you more than capable of handling the situation. And your pupils, naturally."
