He wasn't sure about the drink just yet. He felt drunk enough without it. Falcon's statement hit probably a little harder than he expected. Mac looked to the table in front of him, staring down the drink, almost tempted to drink it anyway. He knew what would happen if he did, so he tried telling himself not to.
"That's a lot of stuff to talk about," he slowly admitted. "I mean, we ain't even come close to stuff like that."
He drifted off from that last statement, did he really think this through? Sex, careers, finances, and children: the subjects that started now coming to him. How did he feel about any of this, and how could he convey it to Falcon? He thought hard.
"I mean, ever since I was on my own I told myself I wanted to start a family someday. Yeah, even have some kids," he spoke again as he was starting to think about where his confidence in this stood now. "I think things are alright financially, and we have careers and jobs to do so..."
