Mac was probably just about now getting his food, just a big beef burger and some fries for today. Honestly, he was very deep in his own thoughts as he had a lot on his mind. It wasn't like Mac to be out and about and immediately not being so outgoing. He didn't even start digging into his meal right away.
He was fiddling around with a box in his hand when Chihiro came over, quickly putting it in his coat pocket when he arrived. He bit his lower lip before making a small smile at one of his club attendees, nah, he was also a friend and he knew that too. Chihiro was a good guy with a good head, so he especially didn't want him to worry about his affairs. Well, he never liked people worrying about him to begin with.
He reminded himself to play cool and natural, and think on things later.
"Oh, hey! Uh, no problem, man. You eatin' here? C'mon, have a seat!"
It would be then, he would quickly ask for his waiter to come by and help serve his buddy. It all happened quick and he was half aware it came out that way; he was keeping his mind busy.
