Winter had always made Chihiro melancholic, last year's incident notwithstanding. He doesn't pretend that none of those things happened, but he was trying to be more in spirit, especially not to worry those around him. He should feel happy enough that he could stand the weather enough to trudge around the snow without coming down with a cold or the sort soon after.

Chihiro could be found walking around campus, mostly in the afternoon. You might also see him taking a short moment to sit down before taking another stroll.
