Mondo was on a mission to rally people together before the robots occupied campus. He'd split up with Kiyotaka to go the other way, and this way happened to lead to Jock. This was his first encounter. He skidded to a stop.

"Oi, Jock! You heard what's up, right? A buncha' robots are about to flood the whole damn school! It's gonna be hell in a hot second, so we need to round up some numbers! You're comin' with me!"

There seems to be little choice in the matter.
