Mondo wasn't capable of responding, so he lost by default. It was probably for the best, since the alternative way of losing wouldn't have been pretty. After he snapped out of his daze sooner or later, he would have to realize that a smidgen of his territory would have to be revoked and usurped by the stronger Sanctuary Boss.
