"Yes!" Ai replied excitedly. She raised her eyebrows as she explained, like she was describing something surprising or out-of-the-ordinary, "It's very exciting. Everyone looks so pretty in their outfits, and I like the music very much. It's very fun. I wish I could stay all night."

She was already starting to feel a little tired, though. By the time the dance had started, Ai was usually getting ready for bed. The excitement of being at the dance was enough to keep her awake, but she was sure she wouldn't be able to stay up for much longer. Hopefully she had enough energy for a couple more dances, at least!

"Are you?" she asked. It didn't seem like the kind of thing Caim would like. But she'd learned from past experiences that Caim could be incredibly unpredictable.
