So he thought he could fight back! This was interesting, and strangely exhilarating to have his scrawny-looking opponent exchange blows rather than just take them. The strike to his abdomen was less than exhilarating, but it only caused him to flinch his advance for a handful of seconds- he'd taken worse blows before and plowed through them like they were nothing but fly bites.

"At least you've got the guts not to back down!" bellowed Mondo as he swung a right hook to the face. "But I'm gonna make you regret it!"

He was so lost in his own little bloodlust haze that the rest of the world sort of faded to black. Laying the smackdown on Byakuya was long overdue, and so was the last time he got to beat someone like this. They were likely causing quite the scene.
