Then she shifted to settle her hand upon her waist, "I'm not so sure it's uncertainty that keeps us from talking about it, but more that we both know whatever's between us could be interpreted as a bit... 'unseemly,' I think is the word. Scandalous, I guess. People might draw incorrect conclusions and it'd look bad on us both, so it's easier not to label anything."
Easier to hide something than it was to wear it so openly. But in time, she imagined people might understand why she was approaching the situation so carefully. Although she found herself more than a little confused over the whole ordeal.
