He could do more damage with his fists and feet than most people could do with a gun. And the temptation to engage them was certainly there. However, he had to work smarter, not harder in this situation.
"Of course we're not sending you to that Smash Academy place, dear." he said a little more loudly than he'd been talking before. "We'll be sending you to a more exclusive school - Smeltings academy! They allow you to discipline other students with batons, from what I hear."
Hopefully that would be enough to convince anyone listening that they were a perfectly normal Human family. He looked over at Evve for some backup on this.
