She eyed the food in front of her a little longer, curious about it, and wondering if she should. Seafood and potato? She'd eaten potatoes mashed before, and she'd never, ever eaten seafood. Was it the same as fish ate? That was all a funny thought, the two things compiled into that slice of something... weren't potatoes white...

But she reached out a hand to take one from the offered packet. "Okaaay."

Why not! Out came one of the potato snacks, and she gave it one look in front of her face before she put it in her mouth, letting it break off against her lips with a pinch. It only had to be in there for a second though, before her face grimaced at the sudden sharpness of the taste.

For the girl wasn't so used to things as flavouring in the same capacity, and the thin slice sure packed a punch that the Mareep couldn't have suspected. Her voice echoed inside her closed mouth, but despite the not-so-cheery sound, she bit into it, and swallowed what was in her mouth down.

She shook her head too, and she looked at Shadow with the side of her eyes a little wet. Just a bit.

"Seafood's shaaaarrrp," was the only comparison she could make of it at that moment. Sharp like thorns.
