Phoenix actually shivered slightly when Vivian uttered the word "drag." There was an inhuman quality to the word; it reminded him somewhat of GLaDOS. It seemed like if he made one wrong move, some giant blast could come right out of that gun and blow him to pieces, so he stayed perfectly still.
