"Personally?" Seth chirped, amused she would cautiously pry, even with something so tentative and vague. Curiosity did terrible things, as he knew. He sat back in his seat, looking oh so comfortable with himself as he smiled at her, humming quietly and mulling over an answer.
"I think I enjoy aesthetics and balance in many things--and not by any means the shallow kind." Except it was absolutely shallow on the former, and anything but on the latter.
"I like seeing the beauty in things that are opposite yet not, both sides of the coin. Light and dark, hot and cold, flowers and dirt and all of it. One can't exist without the other, so therefore if one side is deemed beautiful and glorious, the other side must as well. Maybe not everyone looks at it that way--with contests and labels and stigmas--but that's how I like to look at things."
