The more this scene seemed to play out for him, the more X was certain that he'd look back at it and comment on the surreality of it. It wasn't so much Shadow's actions, as the thought of being carried, treated like a fragile thing and held to one's chest...

It was simultaneously touching and horribly embarrassing.

He supposed it wasn't surprising that they could exit a dream; if Eifie and Shadow had come into his, logically that meant that they were able to exit their own, didn't it?
