Phoenix did feel somewhat bad for Edgeworth, if this Edgeworth was indeed real and not just part of his imagination. (He really couldn't figure that part out, though.) But it was pretty typical the way he grabbed the sweatshirt after a while. Almost funny. Phoenix's mind really got Edgeworth's nuances down pat, didn't he?
"I don't even know what I'm talking about..." He began walking toward the door. "But this school is just... Weird things have happened, and I've found that pretty much anything impossible can happen here."
What was he even saying? It was so surreal. And the surly Edgeworth of all people wouldn't be convinced, would he? But sure enough, when he opened the door, he found he was back at that hub of many, many doors. His mind hadn't altered the area at all.
