Sonic yelped as he fell, bracing himself for a spine-clogging dirt/grass impact, but not before he swung his arms around his younger self as if he'd go flying were he to not. His ears whipped back until they hit the ground, then eased forward as his own laughter encouraged them to lighten up. He kept one arm around him, leaning on his elbow to better see his younger self against him.

"Looks like we gotta do this again," Sonic explained, rolling his eyes. "Turns out Eggman had a backup in the other universe." At least he was sure it had to be him. Seriously, who else would it have been? He didn't sound too worried, though, all damage considered.

His brows rocketed up when he realized who exactly was before him. Hah! "Wanna help take him out? Again? Apparently we gotta show him him up in all corners of the universe before he gets it."
