Of course he did know that Eli was just using him to some degree. It was so hard to admit it, though, but now all of those feelings were coming out in the open, since she decided to finally break it off. Relief would come later on when he realized this was a good thing, but for now, he just felt betrayal.

"So why the hell did you ask me out anyway? You needed some chump to beat up on or something?"

He didn't want to bring up Eli's stint with Vinnie's sister. At least not yet. But that lingered in the back of his mind, enhancing his anger.
