Lucas was really very, very bad at this "secret boyfriends" thing. He was far too busy being hopelessly infatuated with Jeff to remember he wasn't supposed to be hopelessly infatuated with Jeff. It wasn't until Tony spoke up that he realized it maybe wasn't a good idea to be so close to Jeff in a place that was so public. He backed down, instead settling next to the other blond.
He didn't let go of Jeff's hand, though.
"A-ah... yeah, contacts. I mean... glasses must have been a bit of a pain on the battlefield, right? You don't have to worry as much about contacts getting cracked or anything, do you?" He was quiet for a moment, glance sliding down to where their hands were connected beneath the water. "I... I kinda like your glasses though, Jeff."
