In fact, it made so much sense that Jon couldn't help wondering how much damage this attack would actually DO? He'd been the unlucky recipient of his fair share of antlers and while it generally stung like nobodies, his quickly healing body was able to take it in stride generally.
So, he backed away again, snapping and snarling, but moving just slowly enough that Kieran would have a target if he really intended to do this and wasn't about to chicken out.
