Who: Knuckles, Goombella and... special Guest star NPC
What: Looking at Apartments.
Where: In FDC. In. Apartments.
When: Sunday the 15th
Warnings: None. Yet.
The big day was finally here.
It had started as an idle comment made by Knuckles on Mistletoe day - More of a jest than anything. But once what he'd said had sunk in and he really thought about it? The idea had excited him. And so it snowballed, going from a joke to something real and tangible over the course of a few weeks. They'd talked it over on the spot, discussing even things like transport and how to pay rent. Knuckles had almost immediately sought out Ganondorf and gotten himself a part time job as a bouncer to pay his share alongside Goombella's TA wages.
And so, inbetween patrolling the streets and campus, Knuckles had looked at places online. Houses and apartments and everything inbetween that was within their price range. Goombella had done the same and they'd compared notes on distance to and from school and work, the size of the places (Knuckles wanted at least one extra bedroom as a workout space-slash-TA Office-slash-Homework room.) and just whether they liked the look of the pictures in the ads. Of course... pictures could be deceiving. And being that ALL the places that fit their Criteria were being rented by a Realty firm called Extreme Homes - Rental Edition? Knuckles couldn't help being just a touch wary.
He stood outside the office, coffees in his hand. One for himself and one for Goombella when she got here.
