The possibility that my feelings are unrequited have not slipped my mind. That may very well be the truth of the matter and I may very well be broken into two."

He shook his head, "But while that is not a primary concern, I was actually referring to whether you would think ill of me for leaving my kingdom to be with someone who was not a part of my kingdom at all. That is really the issue I am having. I am attempting to draw the line between obligation and my heart. Sometimes these two ideals can be combined, but sometimes, like the one I am in, I have to choose one over the other. If I choose my heart, does this make a horrible person, or a horrible king?"
