Sasha didn't know her other region legendaries apart from Arceus. The comment passed completely over her head, but at least Max was taking the effort to learn about them which was a lot more than she could say about other people. She could appreciate that, as well as his honesty. She had expected half-excuses as to why it was a perfect opportunity, but it was brutally truthful.
"I don't think any of us were really responsible for what we did during that week," she began, unconsciously moving her tail back and forth. "So yeah, I'll say it. He wasn't in his right mind. I know I wasn't..." She left that part vague for now. "But I've been trying to fix the problems I did as well, although in a much different way. Maybe that's what Vinnie wants too."
She looked over at the twins peeking from the side of a building and silently shooed them away when Max wasn't looking. "Red's finical situation is not something we like to speak with people who aren't part of his team. You were nice enough to be truthful, so I'll be frank, Max. I don't like it at all. Venusaurs are all about family. It was already hard for him to leave his family when he joined us, I don't even know if it's tearing at him right now or not...but I trust Vinnie. I think he knows himself more than me, and I know no matter what happens, he'll still be the Vinnie I know and love. Maybe it's just a challenge he has to pass here like me. I know he'll come out better for it. So if anything...make sure he's learning the right things, alright? But if you break his back or tear out Red's heart from the whole ordeal, I swear I'll break yours. Just so you're clear on that."
She cracked a tiny smile which admittedly on a charizard did not look that very pretty.
"You should have seen Red the first time we took a swim with the entire team. Well, minus me, of course." She flicked her tail again. "Charizards and water don't agree too much. Except maybe for a quick shower."
