Ahh. He probably should have kept his mouth shut. He didn't know what it was that was going on inside Char's head, but there was definitely something, and he wasn't sure how much he'd like it. Bulba was still trying to get it, the whatever it was that made Char tick. Picking up all the little hints and pieces was building up something, but it was taking a long time.

But he was trying. He didn't want to just be a nag or a worry wort or whatever. There was more to it than just the what if's and the could have beens. Sure, he wanted to be there just in case. Bulba couldn't deny that, it was practically written into him. If they weren't sticking it out on their own, protecting the family is just what a saur did.

Protection took more than one form though. Bulba frowned a little. "I know that. But still..." He let out a little snort of air through his nose and generally just started to look a little flustered. That wall was REALLY looking pretty interesting right about now.

"I'd like to... Uh, you know..." No he didn't, Bulba, just spit it out. He fumbled with his claws a little. "... cheer you on."

Fumble fumble. "...Sometimes."

"That sounds dumb out loud. Forget I said it."
