Brock had admittedly been shaken. He didn't think he could have told his family because he didn't think he could stand their reactions. It was terrible of him to withhold the event from his parents and brothers and sisters, but Brock figured ignorance would be bliss--especially now that all the panic had turned out to be for nothing. It just didn't seem worth it.
