She knew where he was getting at. There was a lot of confidential information that even Lash had managed to keep away from their eyes, hidden away on those files. The problem was getting it all back. She had a feeling it would involve her betraying the trust of a few people. The student wasn't...too sure how she felt about that.
But in many ways she had been expecting it to become a problem sooner or later, ever since Hawke had come back.
So it began, then.
"The main problem is we can't just take the files. They know you're here and...pardon the pun, are watching all three of us like hawks. Flak's petty spats with Max aren't helping either. We'll need an air-tight alibi, and a time window of less than two hours, including transport. I know some of Orange's Star's defenses, but they've kept me out of the loop for the past year. They don't let me into those documents. Even when I tried to find my parent's location, they carried me blindfold into the lower levels of the barracks."
