"Thank you!" Soup and water... he was pleasantly surprised. Even if Lugia was only doing so out of guilt, it filled Ho-oh with happiness to know the other was thinking of him.

He wouldn't bite Lugia after all. Not for a lack of food anyways.

The soup was much better a second time around although he didn't finish it all. Between the water and warm broth he found himself feeling comfortably full rather quickly. It wasn't enough to put him asleep though and Ho-oh found himself staring at the ceiling as Lugia read. There was something more troublesome then a cough keeping him from his rest.
