As Porky gave his egotistical spiel Samus felt an ire building up inside of her that she had only ever felt so strongly a few times before in her life. She tried to remember the long story Ness told her, when she asked about Porky. Any information in her memory that might serve useful to the hunter, to find a weak spot in her prey.

"...Giygas was an alien capable of influencing the evil already in the hearts of living beings, you can't control something like that!" She lowered her head and bared teeth, "And when it backfires on you, you're just gonna' run away again like a coward. Just like last time. You'll never escape your failures, Porky!"

She sneered, cold as ice, looking to hit that same soft spot Ness did, "You'll never be happy. You ran away from your happiness years ago. You ran away from your brother Picky, from your only family, and from your friends. You are no hero."

Samus continued to hold her gun pointed high at her adversary, strong and unwavering. "And unlike you, I'm not going to run away from mine."
