He doesn't even realize he's flipped the book open and has started reading it again until that voice calls out to him. At which point he blinks up from it, having to practically force himself not to snap the thing shut and hide it entirely out of reflex. He smiles, instantly, at the sight of the younger hedgehog and gives a little halfwave, eyes bright.

"Hey, Silv~" He shrugs a little bit and shakes his head, closing the book and gesturing with it, vaguely. "Nah~ It's all cool." He tilts his head a little bit, watching the silver hedgehog interestedly, looking a little curious.

"I didn' pull ya away from anythin' important, did I?" he asks, quietly.
