Vigilante Vandalism
Who: Enemies and Allies to the Egg Regime
What: LET'S WRECK EGGMAN'S SHIT
Where: The Egg Carrier
When: Late at night Feb. 21/ early morning Feb. 22
Warnings: Robot violence--towards and by
Doctor Ivo Robotnik was not a popular man, in spite of his power. His methods were cruel, his intent foul, and his attitude repulsive. There were any number of reasons, personal or moral, to find objection against the megalomaniac. By the look of those assembled, many people had. One could take reassurance, then, that they were making the right choice: this was something a lot of people had been waiting to do, and only needed the right opportunity to act.
Hajime, at least, decided to take it as encouragement, rather than aggravation over far too many people for this to be a proper stealth mission. Someone else was likely more qualified to lead on this: he didn't know Eggman's robots, weaponry, ship layout, or overall methods as well as other people gathered, he was still a novice at fighting, and... well, he'd screwed up a rebellion before, anyway. Still, he could be glad he at least got things moving.
He'd laid out the plans as well as he could, for everyone to see. It was an incomplete map of the Egg Carrier, even with some insider knowledge from others, but it was the best they had.
"The ship will be passing nearby soon. Unfortunately, getting up there is going to take the most work. We're going to have to be careful and help each other out if we're getting up there. I managed to find some supplies, but they won't work for everyone." Rummaging through the lost and found got him a couple Bunny Hoods and Rocket Belts, but even those probably wouldn't be enough on their own. In all honesty, their biggest problem right now was figuring out how to get up there.
"These are the possible entrances. This one's the release hatch for his robots--the most heavily guarded, and dangerous, but the one that's likely closest to his conversion chambers and work." His teeth ground together. "Confrontation with his forces will be inevitable whichever way you go, so prepare yourselves; this is a mission with the intent to free as many of his victims as possible, and cripple his chances to do the same to others. If you're not already aware... Eggman's victims are held captive within his drones, as living batteries.
"Naturally, just as getting up will be difficult, an escape route may be even more troublesome up in the air. Don't get reckless--we're not here to fight. Dismantle, free, and retreat. That's our order of business."
Hajime paused, taking a deep breath. "Eggman... the things he can do if we fail are unimaginable. I... I didn't bring enough radios for everyone to keep in contact." In case you forgot he's still a teenager, yes, he brought walkie talkies. "So... so stay safe. Please. I'm counting on all of you."
Go team.
[[Tag around under the different categories; make top levels, separate into groups. Don't stick to tagging order too much, and break away or threadjack where appropriate! Things are sure to get chaotic before long, so don't feel married to one goal per character.
For reference of the Egg Carrier and layout, Jeff has gathered many resources for you. Eggman's robots will largely be player controlled, so go nuts and kick some robot ass!]]

[Sonic is pacing, not able to hide his impatience. If they were going to break Eggman's toys then it wasn't a good idea to stand around while his FLYING FORTRESS was still airborne. He could be halfway to Squeenix Academy by now, if he's caught wind of this.]
The big question is, how do we get up there? Normally Tails would fly the Tornado up there, but he's back home. Anyone else got an airship or a plane or something?

Whatever the reason, he's obviously looking nervous- which isn't surprising, it's his natural state. He looks pretty confused, too, though. Which also isn't surprising. Coming from a world where the pinnacle of technology is somewhere around bows and arrows, means a whole lot of this stuff is going right over his head.
"Right, uh... I think I'll just be following everyone else's lead on this."

He made sure some of his allies knew of this too, namely Joel and Gordon.
He found himself here, all in his robes and armed to the brim with his weapons.
"I have infiltrated the doctor's forces before," Connor spoke out. "As long as we have our wits, his forces are easily penetrable. But the numbers are massive, if we could stay out of sight, we should. As long as possible."

"We'll have a better chance of being undetected in smaller groups. Hit the base at multiple points. If necessary, the most experienced fighters can draw the attention of Eggman's forces away from the rest." It was risky, but it gave everyone else a higher probability of success.

and then there's this guy
He was holding something in his hands, some kind of clear glass-like spherical container about the size of a bowling ball, bound together around its circumference with a red metallic rim, containing what looked like a flat, gold representation of a thunderbolt, hovering in the hollow center. He held this object close to his chest, cradling it gently in a protective manner, as though it were something very important, very fragile, or very powerful.
He mainly stood there silently listening to Hajime's speech.

BATTLEBOTS
let's have a group in a place
He brought his sword with him. That was a good step. Hopefully the group he'd joined with had brought foresight and expertise. Secret raid missions were way beyond Kiyotaka, but damn it, he was going to try his hardest.
Especially since failure probably meant death.
He pressed himself against a wall just inside one of the entrances from the deck, suddenly hyper-aware of every minute sound his body was making. Every rustle of fabric, every breath, every footstep all seemed way too loud - but that was all in his head. It wouldn't do any good to panic.
He turned to his party, his frown more intense than ever. "Is everyone ready?"

He's lounging and practically half-asleep in Tail's plane on the way up, but as soon as the Tornado lands he springs out of the cockpit and lands on the deck in a crouch.
"HEY EGGMAN! BRING OUT YOUR TOYS! It's time to play."
By the way the security alarms rise and robots crawl out of the woodwork at that, you'd think it were calibrated to the sound of Sonic's voice. Maybe it is, but that's a point that's not worth pondering at the moment. The pawns and knights congregate and approach, getting closer and closer. Sonic smirks as one waves its lance at him a little too close. Then he blasts into motion, leaving a split-second lurching vacuum in the thin air he had just occupied.
Robots slam together from the pressure differential. Others are rendered into pieces from impact. Egg Hammers swing at the ballistic mammal again and again, weathering a few hits before they too pop into a shower of pieces and a bewildered woodland critter battery.
Those who manage to get a good look at Sonic's face in the moments he stops to change trajectory, will find a wide, almost manic grin on his face. It's like the satisfaction of throwing a pie in your hated teacher's face during a pep rally AND the rush of defeating Eggman's forces, all in one!

stupid dumb baby central
Still, with so many opponents, keeping out of the way would only work for so long, and Hajime planned accordingly. He may not be strong enough to take on steel forces, but he had one ace up his sleeve. It only had a limited use, so he'd save it for when necessary, but it was important to have it at the ready.
Face set against the oncoming forces, Hajime pulled a super soaker from his pack.

VOLTECCER VOLTECCER VOLTECCER VOLTECCER
He knew he didn't have long before it wore off, so he immediately put it to use. Leaping into the air, he performed his Volteccer, transmuting into a ball of energy and blasting upwards at a steep angle with an audible ZKKA-ZKKA-ZKKA!!
However, he could only fold the form for so long without coming in contact with anything; at a few hundred feet into the air, he changed back into his normal form, hanging in midair for a second before gravity began to pull on him again. He only needed that one second to get his bearings, notice the Egg Carrier still some distance away, and angle himself so that he would not accidentally strike it on his way up... The Voltec Energy still coursing through him, he easily slipped back into his Volteccer form, travelling another few hundred feet before popping back out of that form... and so on... and so on, until he finally found himself above the deck of the Carrier, at which point he swung his feet back underneath him and came to land, ducking into a crouch.
Hearing the noise of battle, he looked up to see an army of robots storming their way onto the deck. He didn't concern himself with whether they had been lying in wait, or if something alerted them to the intruders' arrival; he needed to get moving, and act. Taking off like a broken runner, he used whatever Voltec Energy he had left in him to sling a number of rapid-fire Slash Arrows at the rampaging robots, aiming to clear enough of them away so that he could locate his allies, assuming they were still on the deck. His position among the enemy was clear by the bolts of electricity blasting upward with each successive strike.
SURVEILLANCE AND DEFENSE SYSTEMS
Pending Crisis Resolution Mode
But today she roamed closer to Eggman's room as he slept, less concerned with the rest of the facility that was the Egg Carrier and more with her precious adopted father. They had goals together, goals she believed in and trusted him to. What Zero explained and what she knew she saw... Well, she believed the Doctor had good within him. After all, when the machines are destroyed, why is it the animals within get away unharmed?
Vivian may have posed a threat to some people, but she would never hurt them. It was the same of Eggman, she thought, even if in some sense she understood she was wrong. It seemed to be so case by case...
She leaned against his door, holding a fairly large but harmless gun. (It was upon request that it only shoot non-lethal ammunition.) Still, it'd knock you off your feet, if not out.
Things would be peaceful soon, she thought. People would like her, she'd have a happy family, and maybe she could be friends with Taka again... Friends with Zero, Hajime - everyone.
Someday... Soon.
Day dreams aside, Vivian doesn't go too far from his door while patrolling, though she is mostly having fun with the other robots on the Carrier while the Doctor takes his nap. Should anyone trip the alarm, Vivian's first reaction will be to guard Eggman's door.
However if she sees anyone that doesn't belong... Well, we'll get to that.
[[This bit of the infiltration can be addressed at any time by anyone. If you have any questions, hit me up!]]

team sneaky badasses
Connor was able to sneak in through a vent on the side of the Egg Carrier, thank the map for that. He and whomever came with him probably ran into a few bots along the way. But they were dealt with, and quickly. Once he had leverage, he made his way inside.
His goal here was the take out any defenses or surveillance that could make things easier for the offense. Connor didn't want Eggman to send any reinforcements, whether their way or the group making their statement outside.
This involved taking out cameras and any guard bots. Hopefully, they could all rendezvous with the others when they made it in. Hopefully again, things would be easier coming in.

Re: SURVEILLANCE AND DEFENSE SYSTEMS
He was here.
And You Shall Not Pass.
He was fuzzy on the details. All he knew was that there was an invading force invading by force on the Egg Carrier. Eggman, even though he was a total turkey, was an ally of the Koopa Kingdom. And as such, someone that Sonny's boss, Bowser, held dear. Sonny's professional duty as a Minion and member of Bowser's army was to protect that which his King held dear. That's what paid his bills, you know?
He had been told that students and teachers were involved. And he wasn't going to hurt anyone. But he also wasn't going to let them do anything hurtful to Eggman. He sat in the hallway. He would not be moved. Not by ten year olds with bikes and not by you.
Consider this pathway blocked.

LAB AND PRODUCTION LINE
Meanwhile...
Pulse's goal was to seek out the lab as soon as possible. Though he was just as good at breaking things as the next superpowered being, he wasn't quite as adept at melee fighting, so he left the task of distraction up to the apparently more capable hedgehog fellow and his similarly anthropomorphic animal friends, separating from the group to infiltrate the ship's network, if there was such a thing. He found it in the form of a series of floating monitors set up at different locations throughout the Carrier. Finding a node marked as being stationed near the lab, he traced the path through the hintbox LAN, which led him to this spot.
There was a large, important-looking door nearby, its frame decorated with warning stripes. Pulse looked around for an opening mechanism, and found a large round button set into the floor. A secret switch! Press it? Who wouldn't? The door hatch slid open after Pulse gave the button a good stomp, closing back swiftly after he dashed inside, muffling the cacophony of the alarms somewhat.
It was dark, but Pulse could still see a little. He could at least tell that the room was full of machinery and electronics. Must be the lab. I'm in the right place. Knowing that he didn't have much time, he began seeking out the most important-looking thing to break first. But then, having never before been in such a lab where living things were turned into mechanical monsters, everything looked important.
Decisions, decisions...

The Big Guns
In Eggman's lab, there's a huge laser weapon under construction. Blueprints on the computer reveal its purpose: A weaponized version of the robotisizer. And its purpose was outlined in detail: To transform an entire planet into a mechanical fortress.
Better be sure to blow that up.
awwwwwwww dang
No really, Hajime can't really read blueprints, but it doesn't take a genius to look at something like that in a place like this and figure it's bad news. Things have not gone great, but he never expected them to--even though he's gotten battered and bloodied in the scuffle, he'll consider this mission every ounce a success if they can stop things like this from existing.
Without a word, he went to start searching for weak points in the unfinished machinery, moving as quickly as bruises and burns would allow. After everything else, banter seemed like a waste of time.

Evil Beauty Sleep
In bed. Asleep. Even an evil genius needed some rest to ensure he'd be at maximum crankiness the next morning. So naturally something had to wake him up, something had to disturb him and get him to rub his eyes angrily. "This had better be good," he mumbled, slapping the panel of a monitor near his bed.
"...WHAT!?" he shouted angrily, as reports started to fly in. Sabotage. Invaders. THAT GODDAMN HEDGEHOG AND HIS STUPID FUZZY FRIENDS. "HOW DID THEY-- HOW DARE THEY--" he started to sputter angrily.
Throwing back his sheets, he got out of bed
in his trapdoor pajamasand stormed towards a panel of computers. He started punching up security feeds angrily. His troops were being decimated by a coordinated attack. Whoever was behind this--SONIC OBVIOUSLY--was prepared. Well, if the hedgehog wanted to call in his buddies, so would he.He opened up a communications channel. "BOWSER! Pick up!" he shouted into his microphone. Hopefully the turtle would be awake.
Re: Evil Beauty Sleep
But there was someone to answer your call.
A voice, dripping with phlegm and sounding like what the screaming of rabbits would sound like if they formed words, responded to Eggdude's cordial greeting. "His Chubbiness is down for the evening." Each syllable was akin to several crates worth of Lee Press On Nails being dragged across a chalkboard at once. "Can I take a message?"
