This ain't no Sex in the City, if you were hoping for that then I'm sorry to disappoint
Who: Mac and Daisy
What: Two lovebirds date in NYC
Where: Mac's home of burgers and apple pie.
When: Backdated to some free weekend in April
Warnings: Sap
Mac had meant to show Daisy around his hometown of NYC. She'd been there but. Man, something special about actually showing her around and hanging out.
Mac made sure to give her brochures and all that stuff. And have her meet Doc. And just about everything. Or well, as much as they can on a given Saturday.
When they arrived, it was noonish and the city was full of life. It was daylight but the city lights of Time Square shown like the night life. People were playing music. Shopping was happening. People went places with their cups of coffee ready to take the day.
Mac shown her around Times Square to start, but he was eagerly waiting for what Daisy wanted to do.
And well, Mr. Eager Beaver here wanted to please.
"Okay, anywhere you wanna go, let me know. We'll go do it."

But it was Mac's home. And he was showing her so many interesting things, she couldn't help but be enthralled.
When he asked his question, Daisy was enjoying herself a hot dog purchased from a street vendor. "It's amazing... There's so much to do here, I don't even know where to start!"

"Doesn't surprise me. I hear almost every tourist say that. So..."
He directed Daisy to the map.
"Don't overdo it if you get tired, this is the kinda thing that'll take up more than one visit but...ya wanna shop, go see Central Park? Art museum? Seriously, it's wherever you wanna go, you're the boss."

She looked up at him. "I've got plenty of energy," she told him. "I've been waiting for this trip forever!"

Central Park it is! Mac immediately called a cab for them to take them. Mac situated for Central Park. It was a a few dozen blocks. Perfect amount of time to still take in the sights and chat.
"You'll like the park, they even got a zoo. Should be bustlin' by now."

As they arrived, she looked out at the expanse of park and whistled. "Just how big IS this place?" she asked.

"Cuz I'm used to this kind of place. Millions of people live here, one of the biggest cities 'round this place."
He pondered something though.
"But hey, one day y'think I can go to where you live? See, I ain't see many big kingdom places."
Not to mention, Mac keeps forgetting she's a princess. Not because she's not princess-y, but unless the other addresses it often, Mac tries to keep it casual. Not everyone likes special treatment.

Oh.
"Oh. Right. Your dad. The king."
THAT SUDDENLY MADE HIM REALLY NERVOUS. WHAT CAN DAISY'S DAD BE LIKE. HE'S KING OF THE LAND, HE'S PROBABLY ALL SORTS OF THINGS THAT WOULD MEAN DANGER FOR WHOMEVER DATED HIS DAUGHTER. THAT'S NOT BEING PARANOID AT ALL.

Does he know Mac is not a member of royalty and is actually a fighter of fisting from the city. Grew up in a rather cruddy part of the city.

So.
She said he was a nice guy. And not a. Sports loving city orphan. He's so gonna ask isn't he. No, he will ask. Crap crap crap.
He took a breath. This wasn't right.
"I'm sure he's a great guy too. I'd love to meet him.]
Be. Supportive.
