[OPEN] 4th Wall Weekend - Campus
Who: ME AND YOU
What: 4th wall weekend shenanigans
Where: In the general vicinity of the campus WHEREVER YOU WANT
When: April 27th-29th
Warnings: shenanigans
Event Info Post: here
Welcome to Smash Academy. If you're new here, the first thing you'll probably notice is the looming clock-tower. That's the main building whereanimes most the classes and strangely accommodating Headmasters are. (That said, the Headmasters are a pair of giant floating hands and one is noticeably much more Crazy than the other, rambling on about oranges and other nonsense...) Around the main building are other facilities you'd expect to see at a school, and despite it being spring break, many bodies are still on campus.
The boy's dormitory wing (BE), the girl's (BW), and the teacher's dorms (TD) are still active with their inhabitants. The common rooms that join BE and BW act as central hubs; in each common room you will find a TV, video games and other such forms of entertainment, as well as some super comfortable couches and chairs about, and a small communal kitchen which may or may not be clean or occupied. There are also communal laundry rooms shared by students and faculty alike. Note: Smash Academy is not in any way, shape, or form responsible for lost or stolen articles of clothing (especially underwear).
The library is MAMMOTH and hard to miss; currently run by an easy to miss five year old albino pikmin girl. The cafeteria/dining hall is also hard to miss, with lunch lunch served daily by your friendly neighborhood Ursaring with a laser eye. If there's nothing appealing here, there are a couple of vending machines are scattered around campus. Careful, they are wily beasts. There's also a campus cafe as far as food options go.
Also found on campus is: a greenhouse, computer labs, the highly esteemed faculty lounge, not so highly esteemed detention rooms/holding cells, mailroom, weight room and a gymnasium. And, yeah, we've got a fancy heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool for all your swimming needs. The courtyard is an open, central location in the school nestled between the dorm wings. There is of course the courtyard fountain, the occasional tree or decorative shrub, and plenty of benches for you to park your 'kesters on. It should probably go without saying, but there's also scattered on campus bathrooms with strange phone numbers scrawled into the walls and janitor closets our janitor would probably not approve of you making out in.
However, the most notable building on campus is probably the gigantic Fighting Stadium. It looks and operates exactly like the Brawl stage, only more. Instead of just Pokemon areas, it can simulate any battle arena imaginable. In addition, items and other special circumstances can be controlled through a podium off to the side. Spars and brawling classes are generally held here, but it is also open to individual training sessions any time. By default, the stadium has safety protocols on by default which negate some pain and characters falling and exploding to their death, but they can be overridden and turned off which means pain and death is a definite possibility.
Since that possibility is quite the possibility at a fighting school like this, it would only make sense for Smash Academy to have an equally advanced nurse's office/infirmary. If you find yourself sick, hurt or in need of medical attention, Rhys andor NPC nurse ladies can make you feel aaaaalllll better.
If you're looking to venture a little beyond the campus, you might pass by the parking lot/hangar; if you've got a vehicle and you drove/flew/rolled/biked/trotted/rode it to school, chances are you parked it here... and your fellow students/faculty would probably greatly appreciate it if no shenanigans befall their vehicles.
Bordering Smash Academy are some grassy fields, a forest, and a misleadingly placid lake; currently home to a Gyrados named Mr. Fish, and formerly home to the (now dead) Kraken. The forest is that of a temperate deciduous forest--lush woods dominated with varying varieties of maple, oak, pine, and birch. There's probably a few other video game derivative species in there if you're very particular about your flora.
Spring is in bloom, so the forest is alive with explosions of flowers, and subsequently birds and bees. Local wildlife varies about as much, including wild Pokemon, "normal animals", and creatures of a more fantastical nature. Again, if you're particular about your fauna, they're mostly video game derivative species. Creature temperaments vary between very tame and very wild, so take caution.

LIBRARY - Everyday
At any other time you could find her at the Librarian's desk. Though she was just as easy to miss there, she was there to help you out.
Just don't expect her to say very much.
LIBRARY - 27th
While some people would not have noticed the librarian's aid, once Clarith caught a glimpse of her, she could not help but stare, becoming very, very conscious of her own white hair.

So she was someone else entirely. Interesting.
At some point Vianca approached the table that the girl was sitting at. Perhaps she wanted to get a better look at this strange mirror image, and was coming around that conveniently placed pile of forgotten books on the table... Or maybe she was actually just grabbing the books. Either way. There she was.

"Thank you," she very softly replied. Her eyes slid to the pages in front of the other girl, lingering on one of the photos of FDC that was featured amongst some of the text. "You're new." A statement, but phrased slightly like a question.

... 28th? that sounds like a nice day.
Nageki tried to keep to himself the first day, but by the second he realized just how much he needed to satisfy his book craving. So he found himself in the very place that he was trapped in back home: the library.
Though he wasn't lost, he definitely was a little overwhelmed by the sheer size of the place. Seeing all the books excited him a little. So many things to read and so little time!! Where could he even begin...?
Quite
And so she did. It did not take long to find someone that didn't know where they were going. Vianca examined him from a bit far off. It was a bit odd. His reaction to the library was reminding her very strongly of the first time she had wandered amongst the shelves herself.
Vianca quietly made her way to the green haired boy's side and peered up at him.
"Do you need any assistance?" Very quiet.
no subject
... wait, there was someone shorter than him?!"..." This was a little awkward for Nageki. He wasn't used to being the one not knowing where to find things. If anything, he was the one helping out Hiyoko with book sorting... but still, he replied in a voice almost as soft as hers. "Where can I find the fantasy section?"
no subject
Surprise!!Vianca decided that as of this moment, she rather liked the soft-spoken boy. He was quiet and he seemed to enjoy being in the presence of the place. Now he was asking to find Vianca's favorite part of the library.
The little girl gave a small nod and turned slightly, indicating for Nageki to follow her. He'd already discovered that the library was quite large, so it was probably obvious that it would be a good idea to just follow her to it.

He was, out of nowhere, pulled back into the school. His first instinct was for some reason to check the library and thankfully, his sister Vianca was there though he didn't made much question on why she's sitting on the librarian's desk now.

Vianca glanced up at his approach, nonplussed as usual. "Brother," she greeted softly. He might have been a different color now, but Thad was still very much Thad. She was happy to see him, though it didn't show. "When did you return?"
Re: LIBRARY - Everyday
Stumbling through a portal was the least of Sabitsuki's worries. She had done that plenty of times before - kind of. Being dropped off in a school also didn't worry her any, she knew how to read and how to navigate one. So she found the library, and quick, to avoid the sudden crowd of people outside. It was the most comforting place.
With nothing else to do until she somehow got sucked back into her own world, Sabitsuki quietly found the library catalog and jotted down the numbers of books she wanted (and also took the paper and pencil along with her in case anyone did decide to chat her up.) However, the library was HUGE and she spent more time wandering through aisles instead of finding books (which Vianca might have seen) and FINE FINE she gave up.
So there she was at the Librarian's desk, holding out her chicken scratch notes to Vianca. Halp.
Re: LIBRARY - Everyday
She had indeed spied the girl wandering through the shelves. At first it seemed like she were merely exploring the library as a whole, a sort of acceptable form of being lost. Because of this, the Pikmin did not immediately go to the girl's aid.
It seemed she wouldn't have to go out of her way. She looked up when the other girl approached, and then her eyes fell to the paper in her hands. Oh. Hm. Vianca nodded and took the notes, glancing over them as she slid off her chair.
oh no here i come. [perhaps the 27th suits you.]
New people were showing up, and a lot of them seemed confused about how they managed to get to the Academy. How you could accidentally stumble upon the school didn't make much sense to the purple Pikmin. The headmasters just made matters even more confusing with their network posts, and Ai was completely unsure what to make of the whole thing.
Perhaps Vianca would! According to Ai, Vianca knew everything. Soon after encountering a few confused individuals, Ai made her way to the library to find her sister. In an aisle not far from the front desk, Ai shouted.
"Vianca!"
yessss. [it does]
"Shhh."
no subject
"I'm sorry! Vianca!" she paused, shuffling closer. "Hello. What are you doing?
no subject
"Hello, Ai. I'm going to be re-cataloguing some more of the books today..." She tipped her head slightly. The pikmin knew when the other had something she wanted to ask. "What is it?"
don't... feel like you have to reply to my late tags dghjs ;_;
too many katies. [28th, afternoontime.]
It was pretty common for Eli to avoid Vianca for weeks at a time, but she'd made a habit of visiting the library each Saturday since the cherry blossom festival. Often, there wasn't much of a conversation.
She carried a book on ancient Hylian with her, very similar to the one she'd given to Vianca for Christmas. She'd had it checked out since early December and had almost forgotten about it. With a quient whump, Eli dropped the book onto the Librarian's desk and gave Vianca an expectant- but soft- stare. There was undoubtedly going to be a late fee for this...
the right amount of katies
While she could accept that, it still wasn't anything that Vianca actually wanted.
When the book hit the desk, there were several thoughts that occurred in Vianca's brain. One was the quiet happiness that this was another Saturday in the trend. Another was a vague, warm sort of sensation when she registered what the book was. When she wordlessly took the book to match it to its card, there was a bit of a conflict within her. On one hand, her christmas present had appeared much less random now. On the other, that inspiration had happened quite a long time ago.
There was undoubtedly going to be a late fee for this.
Vianca stared evenly back up at Eli as she firmly informed her, "... You have a fine of twenty five dollars for this return."
or is it
"That's all I have," she replied, sounding a little irritated.
correct
Without a word, she moved to where she kept her small bag. Two crisper bills were obtained and added to the weathered ones. The money was taken to the desk and properly filed away. There. Business managed.

plot twist. [28th, later.]
Maybe it was worth wondering what Marie had wandered into the library for that Saturday. Maybe it wasn't, considering the reasoning had simply been to find a comfortable place to sit for a while without being bothered. The library was monstrous, and it was easy to get lost in it. A perfect hideout. Marie was a little disappointed he hadn't thought of it sooner.
There was an armchair on the second story of the library with Marie's name on it. Once he had deemed it suitably out-of-the-way and difficult to happen upon, he curled into it with a book about Wartortles.
holy shit
but what about gold's skateboardsMarie had been another person that Vianca had taken note of entering the library. More often than not, these notes remained just notes unless the person in question seemed like they needed her assistance in someway. This was not the case with Marie.
She had recognized him, and had made the firm decision to locate him once she was done with her current task. With all the business that had come with switching around her schedule to better handle the library and the very few hours she still retained at the nurse's office, along with everything else, Vianca had not been able to follow up on the Squirtle's visit there. She had wondered how things had gone.
It did not take her terribly long to find him within the expanse of the library. The spot he had chosen had been one of the ones that Vianca liked to frequent. It was, in fact, suitably out-of-the-way and difficult to happen upon, and that was why she also enjoyed it.
Vianca put forth a bit of effort to make her footsteps a bit more pronounced so that maybe it would not be a complete surprise when she came up near him.

the library is not the correct venue for a skateboardMarie wasn't actually reading the book he held. It was opened to a random page, nestled in his lap, but he was more occupied with looking at his hands than at the text on the pages.
As soon as he heard the sound of footsteps, Marie looked up. Sasha's weird, pale, quiet roommate. The girl who had treated him immediately after his fight with Char. For a split-second he couldn't remember her name. It started with a V... Vianca. Right.
To be honest, Marie really didn't want to see her. She'd seen him in a very fragile condition, and it was pretty embarrassing to see her again. He acknowledged her presence only by looking at her a little too long to be just a glance. Looking down again, he pulled his hood up.
